  1. It will continue, and the PlayStation Plus Collection will be part of the same subscription. Nothing extra to be bought to get that.

    FIFA 21

It will be the latter. EA has this thing call Dual Entitlement. Found this on one website, which explains it really well: Users who have bought FIFA 21 for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade their copy should they purchase the next-generation console (PS4 to PS5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X) in the future. Physical copies of FIFA 21 also allows users to download and play the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions with a disc drive. However, for users who plan on purchasing a disc-less console after owning a console with a disc drive, their physical copies of FIFA 21 cannot be used to upgrade to discless consoles via Dual Entitlement. Players can also only use Dual Entitlement for FIFA 21 for the same console. For example, Dual Entitlement upgrade can only be used when upgrading from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X. BTW, the timeframe is only until the release of FIFA 22. So, if you buy the PS4 version of FIFA 21 when it launches, and then buy the PS5 2 years later, then you will not be eligible for Dual Entitlement as the next game is already out. Hope this helps.
  3. That's what it seems like. Again, all this can be dispelled if Sony just comes out and explains things clearly, but we know that ain't happening 'because there's 2 months for the launch.'
  4. If that's true, suddenly, 505 Games are not such villains anymore for ditching original buyers of Control. Basically, there's this whole 'pay to get next-gen upgrades'. If you don't pay, you will be able to play PS4 games on PS5, but it will run like their PS4 or PS4 Pro versions (if the game has received a patch). Again, I'm just assuming here, because Sony have been anything but clear. So, unless a developer/publisher puts in the work to make it a next-gen upgrade, I don't think anyone should expect the following for any backward compatible games: - native resolution upscaling - load-time improvements - increased frame-rate options The game will work on the PS5 (going by the "99% of games work" statement by Jim Ryan), but... ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️ Good job, Sony. Not. Edit: I must emphasise on the option developers/publishers have for this. For example, Dirt 5, Cyberpunk 2077, HITMAN 3, etc. will get next-gen upgrades' for free. But guess which game might not - Marvel's Spider-Man. Yeah, I'm pissed. This is a Activision/EA-level move by Sony.
  5. I remember Demon's Souls PS3 was a part of PS+. Tried it and couldn't even play more than an hour or two, max. Never touched it again. This looks very good, though. Maybe, one day...
  6. Never had a PSP and played only a handful of PSP games on my Vita. The standard GTA stuff. The game I was talking about, Frobisher Says, has a 'pass-to-next-player' design, so 2-8 people can play it.
  7. From the link: Update 9/14/20: We’re happy to share that backward compatible titles will be coming to Xbox Series S as well as Xbox Series X. To deliver the highest quality backwards compatible experience consistent with the developer’s original intent, the Xbox Series S runs the Xbox One S version of backward compatible games while applying improved texture filtering, higher and more consistent frame rates, faster load times and Auto HDR. As for next generation titles, Xbox Series S was designed to be the most affordable next generation console and play them at 1440P at 60fps. We’ll be sharing more details on backward compatibility for both Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X soon.
  8. My wife likes the more back-seat gaming experience. We played Detroit: Become Human together and it was a great time. For her, it was more of watching a TV series, but she felt she was more involved than 'just watching' a series. She would yell out the QTE-based choices to make during the intense scenes. I'd ask her from time-to-time what she would want me to do. That made her more involved than a series. But it's less intense than actually playing the game, as she thinks she can't use the controller properly. If you have a PS Vita, then Frobisher Says is an awesome game to play together, too. If both of you are football fans (somewhat), then you can also play FIFA. My wife is neither much of a gamer nor much of a football-lover. So, the 2-button controller set-up works perfectly for her when she feels like playing FIFA for a bit. I keep my controls at default, and it turns out to be a good experience.
  9. Even he's trolling (or preparing us for something) now.
  10. Somehow streamable never works for me. So, I can't see what those links are for. ?
  11. Arsenal. The way we're playing. ???
  12. ? Guess extra storage will be quite expensive, after all. I guess it'll be best to have a regular 1 or 2 TB portable HDD hooked up to the PS5. And then transfer games to the internal HDD for optimum gameplay. Once done with that game, transfer it back and replace with some other game.
  13. So, budget and time was not an issue, yet the game looks like this. Hmmm. I wonder what else could be the reason? ??? @hope: Any ideas?
  14. I was just watching a gameplay video of Mafia: Definitive Edition on YT (this one) and I feel sad for this. Mafia came out in 2002. PoP: Sands of Time came out in 2003. Both are getting remakes in 2020. Just look at both and see the difference. I understand different genres and art-styles, but there's no reason for any game to lack a good level of polish and finesse, which this game clearly lacks. I guess time and budget allocated to this project are the major reasons for this. I just wonder how the higher-ups are okay with this! As someone mentioned, there are so many other remakes made over the last few years, it seems odd as this passed off as a 'remake'.
  15. Hey, I had bought the game. Nobody should diss it because it was made by an Indian Studio. Haters just call it the worst game ever to be made in India. But the game was . Why can't I find the Ra.One thread? Some of my gameplay impressions were posted there. Not sure if it was a game thread or a news thread. Just out of curiosity, what made you cringe? If it's the way she was talking, I don't think it's fair to judge her accent or linguistic skills or whatever. Not cool. ----- I don't get why "speaking proper English" is a factor in representing India. Why should a script be needed? Let's get her honest opinion/thoughts as someone who is in-charge of the game/team making the game. As someone said, it would be great if she spoke in a regional language with subs, but I guess Ubi didn't want that. It's not right to diss her for that. She's doing her job (which is NOT speaking professional-level English in front of a camera), and did well with whatever level of English she knows. Don't see how India is misrepresented by that. Now, making a sub-par game in India, that's something we can all get behind as it does not do well to put India on the game development map.
  16. It's just ever so stutter'y on 0.5x Window/Transition/Animator animations, which is what I normally use. It's been very rare, though. On 1x, it's proper. Not sure if it's the aging hardware of the Pixel 2 XL. Overally, a pretty decent update. I miss one important feature from 10, though. ? Things I like: - Media control in the Quick Settings Pane. - Some subtle animations (wallpaper zooming out while pulling down the notification shade. - Notification categories. - Native screen recorder. Things I didn't like: - When I'm in any app, I could access my main apps and the Google search bar by just going to the Overview screen (open apps list) and it seems it's completely gone now. Now, there's just options to take a screenshot and to select text. ? Need to dig a little bit more to see if I can have it as it was on Android 10.
