  1. He also just bought XFL from Vince McMahon. Oof!
  2. Anthony Newman (co-Game Director) gave some details about the Grounded difficulty option: So, who's gonna play it now on NG+ on Grounded + Permadeath enabled? I think that's the ultimate difficulty for the game.
  3. I don't even know what to feel about MS and the Xbox brand at this point. Considering this comes after a delay of their high-profile game was announced.
  4. Yep. Injustice 3 is pretty much a lock during the FanDome event on the 22nd of August. However, BossLogic only makes custom (super-duper-next-level-ultra) awesome posters, though. So, there's no way that's official. He just made that after news broke out that Ed Boon is one of the attendees for said FanDome event. Seriously though, BossLogic is ace when it comes to making his version of posters/teasers. You guys should check him out on IG.
  5. That was pure evil. And yet, I'm laughing. Now I'm evil, too. ?
  6. Just saw it. That looked really, really good. Good amount of detail in the episode, too. I like this approach of unveiling a game bit-by-bit leading up to launch. The world looks so detailed. Like, next level stuff. Also, either Nomad or Street Kid, for me.
  7. Not sure where else to post this, but...
  8. Yes. Still don't think it's justified, though. A dev who has just shipped a game, the least it should be able to do, is play through the entire campaign of the game. I understand there might be bugs, which a day-one patch can sort out, but the game not running without a patch at all, that's insane.
  9. Well, welcome to IVG! *sarcasm* On a serious note, the best fun can be had, if you are a neutral supporter, so maybe that's an option you might want to consider. Or straight up mute the people you think are almost always NOT gonna add any value to any discussion whatsoever.
  10. AFAIK, CoD WWII also had that requirement. I have experienced that first-hand. Stupidity, if you ask me. The moment you enter the disc, you are asked to download the patch. If you load the disc while you are completely offline, you only get to the start-screen and the game tries to connect to the internet. I'm not much of a technical guy but somehow, it seems that the games that leave the factory are coded to run only after checking if there's any patch installed or not, I guess. High-level incompetence on the developers part, if you ask me.
  11. Persona 4: Golden on the PS Vita. 30 hours in. Also, just started The Witcher III: Wild Hunt on the PS4. A few hours in.
  12. So, what do you guys think? Jackpot? Goldmine? Just a 'buzz' for few days/weeks?
  13. Yes, those are some very funny comments indeed. Gee, I wonder if there's any thread with funnier comments.
  14. Oh well... The moment it's confirmed, this game goes to my 'if-good-then-maybe-consider-but-mostly-not' pile.
  15. As excited as I am about the announcement, a few red-flags: - Just announced so casually despite knowing fans have been waiting for a while for this. - Full reveal is scheduled for DC Fandome, which will be everything that WB wants DC Entertainment to show. Call me crazy, but somehow I feel even DC would've wanted to capitalise on this GaaS-bandwagon, AND the fact that the Avenger's game is getting some decent coverage, this SS game might just be a GaaS title. I pray to God that it's not, but... ??‍♂️ Having said that, if this title turns out to be a GaaS title, then my excitement for WB Montreal's next (supposedly the Batman: Court Of Owls game) will be tenfold as that will surely not have GaaS elements in it. Again, I maybe completely wrong about all this. Let's see...
  16. Something called Walnut (I think that was the name ) has that option. Edit: Yes, that's the name: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.daamitt.walnut.app
  17. He says "always considered multi-platform". Alan Wake was never a multi-platform game. My mind says CoD, but I can't even begin to imagine the backlash. Not sure which other game will fit the criteria.
  18. Apple being Apple. Quite a bit of backlash currently going on, on Twitter. They want Xbox to send each game for review individually. ? MS also struck a deal with Samsung and announced it yesterday. https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/5/21354079/microsoft-samsung-xbox-game-pass-partnership-android-galaxy-note-20 Note 20 phones will have a special version of the GamePass app which will bypass the Play Store while purchasing any MTX/in-game item, thereby not having to give Google their 30% cut. Good decision by MS!
  19. Some of those indies would've been perfect on the Vita, but oh well... This seemed more like a "There are still some games coming to the PS4" event. Hitman VR - Clearly something I'm excited for. Not getting PS VR just for this, obviously but the day I do, this'll be one of the first things I play. Braid: Anniversary Edition - Yeah, okay. Might get it on a sale. The Pathless - Excited for this. Certainly looking forward to it. Spelunky 2 - Yeah, okay. I know Spelunky has a very loyal fanbase and I'm sure they must've loved the trailer and are looking forward to the game, but it's not for me. Bugsnax - Still weird and totally a 'maybe get it on a sale' material for me. Control: Alan Wake Expansion - Yet to play Control, so can't comment. Looked cool, though. Crash Bandicoot 4 - Looks real fun and the team certainly seemed to have taken some effort to make sure the game feels different from the original but with the same DNA. Hood: Outlaws and Legends - Looked good and the combat looked tight. Will need to see more to consider it. Temtem - A proper Pokèmon clone (like that's what they are literally going for). So, the only way to experience a "Pokèmon" game on the PS brand. Ni no Kuni came close but wasn't the same. Had my eyes on this game for some time and glad it's coming to PS5. Godfall - Yeah, okay. If there's a demo/beta, that'll be something I'd like get my hands on, primarily to try the gameplay (which does not 'look' very intriguing currently, to be honest). Just going by how it looks, meh! Overall - Yeah, okay. Could've just released these trailers and given details on the PS Blog instead of a State Of Play stream. Good press for them, of course. Glad they set very clear expectations about this, otherwise it would've been like the first Series X games showcase.
  20. That's almost at par with... Amazon knows your intentions. ?
