Yeah. That's what I was thinking. He first said that he doesn't want R* to knock on his door, but then he reveals the job title of his friend. If I'm R*, all I have to do is filter out the number of Junior Animation Programmers I've fired recently from the R* North office and that's all.

Not feeling it. Saw some camera samples from reviewers and it's a disappointment. Here's what I feel about the current crop of OnePlus phones: - 8 Pro if budget is not a constraint. Absolute top specs, best experience you can get. - 7T if you want the best value for the money spent. I personally don't think the 8 adds that much value compared to the 7T. - Nord if you are absolutely restrained by the budget. It's good, but only at that price. Definitely a compromise.

I never play/watch horror movies or even any movie with slight horror elements (for me, horror = supernatural stuff), but I was able to play The Last Of Us games. Not saying it was easy. Primary reason was to watch the story unfold. I mostly have an issue with supernatural stuff shown in games/movies. If I know it's logical (grounded in scientific explanations and everything like TLoU) and there's no supernatural element involved, I can wrap my head around that and see the game through.

Not sure if this news was posted here.

Oh yeah. That was something. It got so intense that the "joke" had to be revealed way before April Fool's Day. "I blame IGN."

Very few of the original FIFA players active now (which is what I exclusively played back then). Omar, Rad, Azaan, Danny, Dabba, Avinash, Yogi, etc. Some crazy times with one of the first (if not the first) FIFA tournaments on IVG. I think it was for FIFA 09 or FIFA 10. Also, when some of us met up for playing football. This was the first time, IIRC: Alsomet during the PlayStation Experience at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel. Good times! Also, some of the "Official" IVG meet-ups didn't have anyone from the Mods/Admins so, it was just a bunch of members gathering in a gaming cafe (603, in Bandra, booked entirely by us) and then heading to The Irish House to watch some football with a few drinks. Fun times!

Yeah, I just booted it up a couple of days ago and it's like falling in love all over again. You think you won't be able to do it ever, but give it time and you certainly can. Also, I somehow did not complete this game back then. Just left it after 5 hours or so. *apologises* It's been so long since then, that I didn't remember anything and starting the game all over again felt really good. Will mostly finish it this time.

That'll be @DinJo.

Playing it on my PSVita. ~5.5 hours in and about to help Yukiko. Playing on Normal and I'm sorta finding it difficult.

Rumor thread and discussion

So, I guess the 'GOW in 2021' thing is probably not happening. He then followed it up with this, though... So... ??♂️ -
While trying to set-up a recurring payment, I'm getting the error, "Card does not support recurring payments." Using a standard ICICI Debit Card. Help, @HundredProofSam?

When I read that, it just looks to me that MS does not want to compete in the same field. Hear me out, here... It's like how Nintendo is. Everybody knows their games are a certain way and there are no comparisons. Yes, Sony does a game or two that might look like a 'Nintendo-game' but even then, Nintendo are consistent at their thing and it's going well for them. Similarly, Sony has found their success-mantra in a way. Good, well written, story-driven, AAA games. At this point, that could very well be a Sony thing. They're consistent at it and it's going well for them. Now, when I read Spencer's comment, I dunno, I guess MS is trying to figure out their success-mantra. No wonder Halo: Infinite is a 10-year GaaS-like thing and other games have taken some or the other route. It's gonna take some time for them to figure out what it is, but don't think they'll go for the type of games that Sony makes.

Greenberg: "It is a work in progress. What you're seeing today—and I can tell you, because we see build check-ins every week, and they make progress week after week—so between now and holiday, it's just going to get better and better." Source: https://www.pcgamer.com/amp/yesterdays-halo-infinite-gameplay-reveal-was-a-work-in-progress-microsoft-says/?__twitter_impression=true ----- He still thinks this can be revamped between now and holiday 2020. Also, read some rumours that the demo shown was from a January build of the game. Not sure about that, though...

Rumor thread and discussion

Don't think that'll happen. Maybe sometime in the mid-PS5 gen, but even that looks bleak. Although some of the games in the series were good, it just didn't have the appeal of a great shooter. So, it does not have many fans, I think, to warrant a remake/reboot/remaster. Also, the whole "virus caused mutation and the world is ending and we're the last hope" has been done plenty of times since then, it'll be hard for them to showcase a world that seems authentic and not done by some other game before. I think in the PS3 era, it was Killzone that was the flagship FPS series, and Resistance was always somehow considered second-rate. So, chances of a KZ game (despite the not-so-great Shadowfall) seem higher than Resistance. Fans have too many fond memories with KZ games (Killzone 2 and Killzone 3) so Sony might utilise that aspect, too. -

The Xbox Series X|S thread

MS wants to go back to their roots. One of the ways they're doing that is if you notice the difference in visuals from cutscene (CGI) to gameplay in Halo. Yep, only true MS fans will notice and appreciate it. That's how it used to be on the OG Xbox. -
Oh, great. ??♂️ Expect MS to show a game whose gameplay hasn't been finalised yet. ??♂️ Hope Rare don't mess it up, though.

Well, not a rumour but... -
Not sure if anyone noticed or not, but in the trailer, the green car was always ahead of the blue car. Pretty sure that was intentional. Not sure about whether it was Xbox who wanted it or Turn10, though.

Could've sworn that was Marlene who somehow lived, got herself together over the years and is now sort of a camper going from place to place, surviving. I thought Ellie would show up any moment (until she screamed at the "WLF"). And the trailer would end with... "The Last Of Us Part 2.5 story DLC exclusive to Xbox Series X." Oh well...

DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age & Definitive Edition

Not sure if should laugh at this, but yep, the 'S' version is the Switch version of the game ported to Xbox and PC. The graphics will be worse than the PS4 version. Check this thread:
