  1. Main changes are performance and bug fixes and increasing enemy encounter numbers that's it. They have done very little to improve the core game and imo at this stage it's not worth it to sink even more money into this mess. Just launch the promised dlc characters then toss the game into the depth of the ocean.
  2. This month's issue of Edge is now out. Starfield - 6 In spite of these shortcomings, Starfield exerts a curious gravitational pull: there is a pleasant mindlessness to it that means it can easily become a black hole for your free time. But if it's not a bad game, it's an achingly unambitious one, failing in what should be one of the foundational aspects of any space exploration game (see Post Script). True, we've come a long way in six decades. But zoom in on the recent history of games – and that of its maker – and you're forced to concede that we've not covered much distance after all. For Bethesda, this isn't so much a giant leap as barely a small step. surprised to see the score in 6 as I expected it to be around 7.
  3. Why spread misinformation? They already explained that the chart indicate total budget. They explained that the budget is same for SP games but they have increased the budget of live service games. So the total budget has increased rather than funds being diverted that's why the chart indicate it's 40% now of the total budget.
  4. As a totally neutral gamer. I hope you guys keep this thread unlocked and keep the entertainment going. I binged most of this thread last weekend with a bucket of popcorn. One word you guys (both sides) are insane but I couldn't control my laughter I hope someone post this Zodak guy lore as his name was mentioned few times. It appears he was more insane.
  5. TLDR: Essentially the new expansion looks very good, seemingly benefiting from dropping last-gen consoles and HDDs on PC. Slightly lower resolution overall 1800p->1440p before FSR2 reconstruction, but nothing noticeable on a 4K screen. There are visual aliasing artifacts sometimes on Xbox seemingly due to hardware variable rate shading causing it to look low-res at times. FSR2 breakup is noticeable at times on XBS's lower resolution. 2.0 brings gameplay changes but no major noticeable visual changes. New area Dogtown is a bit more heavy on performance than Night City. Can dip 50-60 on PS5/XBX and lower on XBS. Night City performance is improved. Not as stable on Xbox Series X and S compared to PS5. --- Hopefully patches do improve the XSX and XSS versions.
