I understand that sentiment too since I am lazy as f**k too and I hate swapping disk even tho I have disk edition if I had to choose I rather buy digital version of the game than disk for convenience.

You need constant flow of money like Epic makes from Fortnite. I would say better to do both but conduct proper maket research and rather focus on PVE MP/co-op games than PVP based MP games. I can't find that Jim Ryan quote but he did said it would be naive to expect all GaaS games from Sony to be hit (hence they wanted to do 12 GaaS games).

I have question for PS5 version now since many of you guys must have now played decent chunk of the game or completed it. How is the performance of PS5 version? Is it stable 60fps most of the time in performance mode?

Don't like platformer much but the reviews are super positive. I will definitely pick it up later on! I liked Astro Playroom.

Wtf so now if a third party dev makes a game it doesn't count even if the IP is owned by Sony? I thought Until Dawn Remake is a first party game since Ballistic Moon is making it.. And Death Stranding is an amazing game. Of course this guy liked Outlaws as he is used to gamepass low tier trash.

Like I said tons of quality games releases almost every month. Yes, you are not getting 3 ND like PS3 gen but that 1 game is so much better in quality that its not right to complain. Just look at TLOU2 - AI, Cinematic, Voice Acting, Story telling/characters and gameplay everything is perfect and zero load time (Remastered version). And maybe games are cross gen but next gen version is how they are meant to be played and I recently also started Hogwarts Legacy and the best thing about this gen is zero load time ( spiderman 2/ ratchet and clank etc). Can't wait to pickup Dragon Quest 3 2D HD version and Metaphor! I am in no rush as I want next ND ( state of the art stuff) so let them cook. I have plenty of JRPGs / other backlog to play in the meantime.

I hold Jedi Survivor in high regards and can vouch for PS5 version its rock solid 60Fps in performance mode after the patches also cyberpunk 2077 and Returnal. Same for Alan Wake 2 tho its 30 fps. Demon Souls Remake. FF16 is beauty to behold on PS5 ( boss fights are literally best part of the game and the feeling of satisfaction you get when you dodge or parry a boss attack cannot be described!) but it's 30fps on graphic mode. Rebirth - from what little I played this game is special too. Edit - include BG3 too. There are tons of high quality games to play! I really don't get the complaints.

Most of the issue are fixed. I can only comment about PS5 version of VC. Physics (car and bike) related bugs, gun sounds muffled and slight stuttering issue when driving car/bike fast on ps5. These 3 issues still persist on the PS5 version of VC.

Finally started(No spoiler please) PS5 TLOU2 Remastered (Performance mode).

Then same argument can be made for concord. Sony acquired the studio in 2021 (when the game was already playable). Concord total dev time including pre-production is 8 years ( same as Hellblade 2). Studio was founded in 2018 and got acquired in 2021 by Sony. Pre-production /development started in 2016.

Somehow this feels like a low budget game idk why it does feel like that. Hopefully the end product will be good.

A masterclass studio Arkane ( made prey, Dishonored 1&2) under MS leadership made redfall vs a new studio. Yeah, same thing....

Game is digital only for now. Even the physical edition afaik only contains the code.
