I just got a waste strap especially for my phone ,will be using it for my bike rides.. I have'nt been using my Z much but his case has really scared me. Personally i like the phone but i don\t think a 5-inch screen is practical.
How do u guys manage?

Nope, while browsing, Hits the Options Button --> Tools --> Save as PDF --> A PDF is downloaded to your phone which can be accessed via any Office Productivity application.
At-least this is how it functions on my SONY XPERIA go.

Also, welcome to SONY India's abysmal after sales network. They won't budge from their stand, similar thing happened to my friends Sony Ericsson X10 Pro. He had to get it replaced from the grey market.
Sucks for him. I think he was a bit careless , always used to keep his phone in the back pocket of his jeans and used to ride his bike. Happened just 10 minutes after his ride last week. That is the only explanation for that weird scratch.
Any other solutions ?

He went to the Sony Service centre and they say it's physical damage so we cannot do anything. So basically its 38k scrap now...can anything be done?

Can set the frequency too and comes with a ON/OFF widget.

There is no inbuilt way to do it. You would have to use some hacks. Try if tasker works for you to control the camera LED, then you can create a rule for it. If ti doesn't, see if tesla led works for you, then you can use tasker and send controls to tesla to do so. If this fails and your phone is rooted, you'd need to see if your phone exposes a sysfs entry to control the LEDs, then you can use tasker and a little script to do so. Which phone btw?
If there is no inbuilt way to do it then il pass.

Technical talk aside, it is called a notification light so that it does not cause confusion with another LED at the back, I got confused so mentioned it. =]
I meant the LED at the back tho. The notification light always lights up.
