  1. Challenge is to prove its fake. Like you've seen on the thread, Amazon is not accepting returns till you are able to get a certificate from the manufacturer. Same things happen with other items like shampoo, soap, eatables etc. It's trickier to even prove some of them can be fake since you've to again contact the parent company and go through the grove. The reddit link I posted earlier goes into this rabbit hole when a guy got rash via a soap bought on Amazon (US), got it confirmed manufacturer that it was indeed fake, and then decided to find out what is happening. It's an issue of recent times, not of 10 years ago, and Amazon has no incentive to stop 3rd party sellers and inventory commingling as YoY they have increased revenues from 3rd party. Most people wouldn't be able to identify fakes anyway, so the reporting numbers are low.
  2. Back to reading physical books. Solid 10/10. I recently saw this movie titled "Backstabbing for Beginners", and it opened a new world for me, documenting corruption at the highest levels of huge organizations like UN. The book the movie is based on will arrive next week, but this one arrived today (on a similar topic), and I am already midway. For lovers of non fiction, must read.
  3. jeff@amazon.com Be articulate, clear, no profanity. Explain what the issue is, and how CC has responded, and how if this is their stance, you've to look at grievance cell or consumer court since this does not seem like an isolated incident. Be clear, but firm. You'll get a resolution.
  4. It's a super common issue with Amz US/UK etc. Washington Post, NYT etc have covered it recently too. Amazon is unable to do much unless sellers opt for extra barcoding info, for which they charge extra per item stored and shipped. I shared the links earlier in this thread.
  5. SKU commingling, sires. Google it, and maybe you'll never order regular stuff online again.
  6. It's decent. Solid acting, decent storytelling. Will recommend. f**k the naysayers.
  7. Shanti bhai, happy bday ! Ubi is great, but pretty expensive in India. If someone's carrying from US, no brainer.
  8. I posted this on other thread some months ago, and people started sh*ting over me, but hey, you do you. It's all about Amazon commingling. If 10 sellers sell the same product (including Amazon itself), and they use FBA, all SKUs from ALL sellers are commingled against a single ASIN number. It does not matter if you order from Cloudtail or Retailnet, they'll just pick up one of the items from the ASIN and ship it to you. Any of the sellers can sell fake items this way, and it's a serious (and common) issue worldwide with Amazon. https://www.redpoints.com/blog/amazon-commingled-inventory-management/
  9. Any wall corner ? Away from corners ? Any specific distance ? Gives me around 70 Mbps - 60-70 feet or so away from the router. 4 walls in between.
  10. Also, do remember RBK50 can do max 866 Mbps on 5ghz band. So if you plan on using it for gigabit, only LAN will give you full speeds.
  11. Speedtest results on a number of conditions, and none of my devices reach the full 500 Mbps capacity (difficult via a typical AC device). Typical speeds are around 350-400 Mbps via WiFi. Signal strength in dB is a better measure (also shows connection strength).
  12. Decent. Depends on how many and how thick walls are you talking about. My main router is in the center of the house, and the satellite is in my bedroom, which is about 2 thick walls away. The backhaul and speeds are excellent. The main router is also able to provide range till my parking area, though it is not as strong, but workable. All in all, our house is around 2200 sqft, and there are no blind spots using 1 RBR and RBS (i.e. RBK 50). If you want DB values, let me know and I'll check sometime during the day.
  13. Locally it's around 25-26k IIRC. Stocks have stabilized from what I know. The AC edition was available locally for 28k, which is priced crazily on Amazon India (blame scalpers).
  14. Wouldn't recommend the Lite. It isn't a "Switch" tbh. Better get the Switch V2. You can move between TV and portable use, plus the standard variant has detachable JCs and rumble. Both are missing on Lite. The standard variant also has better battery (V2). The only pro for Lite is it weighs less by around 100 gms.
  15. Hey Delhi NCR peeps ! I'll most likely be looking to offload my PS5 once it arrives. Realised there are not many games I'll eventually end up playing on the console. Honestly, I'm undecided. But more likely than not, I'll offload it. I'm based out of Noida, and anybody who wants it has to do a local pick up. Please do let me know if anyone wants it. I'll let you know closer to release date. Offloading at MRP.
  16. Do we get an Ethernet cable in the PS5 box ? Probably (pretty sure) not, but I'll need another one for hardwiring.
  17. https://dl.flipkart.com/dl/uncharted-golden-abyss-ultimate-evil-edition/p/itm2639ba6157a51?pid=GAMFYHD8TACMRYGT&cmpid=product.share.pp Who wants to buy Uncharted for Xbox 360 ?
