Doesn’t matter if it’s smooth. My iPhone feels smoother at 60 hz than my Mi with 120 hz screen.
That Mi is probably dropping more frames than Poonam Pandey's videos.

Why are you guys looking at Germany ? BC our Indian weather is f**ked. It's almost July end and not much rainfall in Delhi NCR, or most populated areas in North India.
Even WB had delayed monsoon this year.
Climate change is real. f**k the naysayers.

So not a complete b grade filled with poor acting and puberty issues?
B grade, with puberty scenes which can be easily fast forwarded.
The show tries to be serious in some segments, but is hilariously bad (so bad it's good).
The first 2 and last 2 episodes can be watched fully. Rest all are fillers.

hi, any device on sale which gives much better overall streaming performance than LG TV’s in-built apps for OTT streaming?
Not really. Webos is one the best when it comes to major apps.
Fire stick 4k will obviously get updates faster than webos.

If I had the Flipkart Axis CC, I might have gone for it as well, I think. Getting the ₹16,250 discount for 4a, too which I think is a very good price for an almost 2-year-old phone, considering it was bought at ₹30k.
But the general reviews aren't too positive for the phone. I'm seriously considering getting the 6. Here's why:
- 90Hz vs 60Hz (this a major thing for me)
- Newer camera hardware vs Old (I know the photos will still look good, but in my head, if it looks the same as my current phone, then what's the point)
- Gorilla Glass Victus vs Gorilla Glass 3
- Wireless Charging on the 6
- 8GB RAM vs 6GB (minor point, I guess, but might be helpful in the long run)
- Fingerprint sensor seems to be equally slow on both. After the updates that the 6 has received, I'd say the speed is the same on both (from comparison videos).
For the same price as the 6a (₹44k), I think the 6 is a better value.
But yeah, for that price, @Bird Bird Bird, I think it's a no-contest.
I agree. Except support for longer OS updates, it's not really an upgrade tbh.
Maybe if I was still holding to P2XL, it was no brainer. But coming from 4a, i don't see a lot of value.

f**king Flipkart. 16.5k for 4a, plus all these offers. 22k finally. Super tempted.

It is showing to be starting from ₹37999.
Edit: Maybe it takes into account the exchange and discount offers
They’re talking into account 4K axis card discount and 5% flipkart card cashback (2k).

When do you usually see the best discount on Switch during the year?
Would we see good discounts on SwitchOLED during independence day sales? Currently it’s ₹27.5k
Just check local prices and buy wherever is cheaper. Local prices only change during supply issues or high dollar value.
27.5k is good value IMO. I got it for nearly 33k.

Finished RE series.
Honestly, i loved it in a campy way. The first 2 and last 2 episodes are so much fun.
Evelyn's dance scene, her and Simon (that scene), Billie using the drones by swiping up on the tablet a 1000 times. Just campy hilarious stuff. Also Bert.
The teen whining is a bit too much. Fast forwarded through young Billie and Jade scenes.
Unlimited breadsticks FTW.

old...now they are being cocky. As always
This.
However, GoW and Spiderman are possibly one of the most well known Sony IPs (and absolutely great games and ports). I'm sure they'll get away with this pricing easily.

If the images from the main shooter is within the same ballpark as flagship cameras, that should be good enough. Will have to make a purchase on the upcoming sale during the weekend. I'm inching towards the pixel.
I've never tried a pixel phone before, would be good to have a pixel phone to play with. Might be something I'd look to get into myself in the distant future if I end up liking the pixel experience.
Pixels are boring, neat phones, with no extra frills vs Moto or Samsung. But they work fine. Stock Android, Pixel launcher, great camera, excellent editing via Google Photos app, generally fast and fluid, timely updates.
I like them.

Yikes! I didn't realise the camera hardware is carried over from the pixel 4 series. I was expecting the same camera from the pixel 6. Camera is her biggest requirement. She uses my s22 ultra for her camera needs, so the bar of expectation is pretty high
Well, while the system is old, even older Pixels use Google's epic AI rendering. If you see normal light photos, you won't find much difference between 6 vs older A series. 6 and above do better in low light, plus much much better video.
I'm using a 4a, and my wife uses iPhone 13, and we took many pics during our recent vacation. From the main camera, 4a had equal or better keepers vs iPhone 13. Videos are a different beast though. Nothing beats the iPhone.

She has an old Redmi note 7 pro for exchange. Flipkart is offering additional bonus on exchange for the pixel 6a (7.5k vs 5k on other phones). This along with the cashback offers would bring the price down to ~32k. It's weird that the phone is available for purchase but we are yet to see reviews on it from the usual suspects.
It's not launched yet. I think the release is on 28th July, and hence no reviews.
The tensor chip is expected to be better than the usual SDs, but the camera system is age old, same as 4a and older. I also think the underdisplay FP scanner won't be as good as usual A series back scanner (generally, bad reviews on 6/6 Pro).
It is still a huge upgrade over any Redmi phone, so you can go ahead eyes closed. 32k is honestly not bad.
Don't go for Nothing Phone. Their base is A11, and they won't get OS update beyond A14.
FE series are decent, also Moto Edge 30.
I am bit biased for Pixels, so will still choose 6a over any other Android phone.

Is the pixel 6a good value at 44k?
Not really. IMO, 30-33k is the sweet spot, and it might go down to those numbers with current card offers.
I am getting an exchange value of 10k for P4a, with 4k discount on Axis and 1500 cb on Axis card, it will come down to 29k-ish. But I am sure price will fall on BBD.

Right. They are out of stock on Apple's website.
A friend of mine ordered the M1 Air last week I think and got an expected delivery date of a few weeks later. The funny thing is, he got the Airpods as a freebie and those have been delivered already. But he doesn't have any other iDevice to take full advantage of the Airpods.
It's common though. Both M1 and M2s are obviously in high demand, so inventory is always marginal. When we bought one last year, the DD was 2 weeks away, and it got delivered exactly at the end of 2 weeks.
I believe if anyone is looking for only base variant, many iShops would carry them.
