    Very common with 16gb variants since they are not in high demand in retail. Most 16gb MacBook SKUs in India have a lead time of 3-4 weeks minimum. Sometimes you’ll find them on Flipkart, but I don’t trust them. Apple ships MacBook via Blue Dart and their delivery times are pretty accurate.

    Agreed. It’s just Pixel vs iPhone for me personally. Sad to see such a state unfortunately. I still have the original Mi3 launched in 2013. Such a beautiful phone.

    Well, you deserve that for buying a Mi. The original quality is now down the drain (for a few years infact). Options are few: iPhone, Pixel, Samsung or Moto. Everything else is crap.

    Saw WWDC yday. Tbh, it doesn't look as useful as Android notifications. Moving it to the bottom makes zero sense unless they're grouped correctly, and granular controls are available on the type of notifications without explicitly hitting every setting off in settings. It's anal how poorly designed notifications are in iOS. For ex, in Android, you can just swipe a notification and simply just disable marketing notifications, but enable shipment notifications on apps like Amazon/FK etc. The grouping is also better, with easy snooze controls etc. 100x better than iOS unfortunately.

    Well, I miss 4 things on iOS - the default map is Apple Maps, and you can't change it on most apps (like Whatsapp location sharing) - the it SUCKS a*s compared to Google Maps. The neighbourhood detail is nowhere to the extent of Google Maps. Second is Google Lens integration. While the app is present for iOS, the default integration on Pixels for every photo (just long press, and a lens option is available) is legit time saver. Not to mention GA runs circles around Siri. The notification panel is atrocious on iOS compared to stock Android - I just hate looking at notification on iPhone. Simply useless. Android not just has better control, but the interactivity is superior as well. Finally, IMHO, the sharing menu is more mature on Android vs iOS. I almost get lost everytime I am trying to share something on iOS which is not present in the default list of apps. Workflow sharing actions are seem a tad confusing tbh. What works well is the rest of the phone. Extremely quick, no lags, excellent screen, excellent speakers, great battery, comparable camera to Pixels, better widgets than Android, and the new iOS 16 does look exciting with lock screen customizations.

    Congrats ! The display is brilliant - day and night difference with usual Android displays, specially when watching HDR content (Netflix etc). I use the 30W brick since it can fast charge both iPhone and iPad. Also, for Whatsapp transfer, I used Dr Fone. Works perfectly, but FOLLOW THE STEPS PRECISELY !

    VPN is about to be quite a pain in India after the new cybersecurity laws announced in April. Basically, every PII has to be shared with the government, rendering VPN's privacy moot. ExpressVPN has already exited India, and they plan to set up physical servers outside India to ensure data violations don't occur.

    What we generally do is change coils - lasts a season, then get it welded+ gas filled for next season. Sometimes it might still need coil change. Coils generally last a season though. Primary culprit is H2S gas. Noida and GN have exposed drains all over the city.
