My love affair with AC ended right after ACB, which was one of the best games I played in the PS360 era. I spent countless hours in stupid MP too. AC games back then usee to be a slide show of history, something that leave you intrigued and if you are history buff like myself you want to go read about things, which I did a lot. I was so in love with Damascus, I wanted to visit and see the Old city, before the war broke out of course. The turning point for the franchise was departure of Beardman, the AC director who left to THQ just before ACB’s release. And then series started going downhill, it got annualised...started having more repetitive gameplay sequences and History became less fun. By the time they released ACBF, I was already done with franchise. I still feel that it can deliver goodies but not w/o having someone like Beardman.
