Tried Dalgona today, didn't get it right. Possibly because I didn't add sugar. So no emulsifier BTW, Ching's secret noodles are very low carb, can be eaten every day. Just 11.4gm carb in 60gm pack. Maggi has 44.5 in 70gm.

we should take them with pinch of salt. but this is quite conservative estimate compared to models which came earlier. Thing is 81% cases are asymptomatic, so it is a big concern. let’s wait for 30th.
-
Scary! 500 cases per day itself mean by April 30, MH will cross 10k. Not calling in Army will be remembered in history as one of the biggest mistake.

Actually, Kerala does very good PR. The Kasargod is neglected region and doesn’t have good facilities that is why they were dragging Karnataka in courts to open borders, to use hospitals in Mangalore. i wouldn’t like private hospitals to be nationalised. Nationalisation means govt control but doesn’t mean better management. Govt hospitals are suffering from bad management. Private hospitals don’t want to take Covid patients because they are bit heartless. Solution is not bad managers to take over good facilities, but something else.

Breaking: Gates foundation, Who, Wuhan institute of Virology hacked 4chan did it.

Even Gujarat is worrying. the only good thing there is people are cooperating with healthcare workers. they would soon get it under control like TN. RJ is slipping too, Jaipur cluster is too big. MP is dice-roll, recent report said people in cluster have started treating themselves. I know it’s too funny.
-
You are reading it out of context. The point I’m making here is the govt healthcare system is so overburdened in the clusters that getting adequate healthcare is very difficult. The way private hospitals are turning patients away should worry all of us. Because we middle-classers always thought that those would be our saviours. Try to understand this, a young symptomatic patient was turned away from 3 private hospitals and he couldn’t make it through, because he wasn’t given proper care, they switched his phone off so he couldn’t even tell his family about how he starved or wasn’t given water to drink. Now a fact, which everyone should know that India has one of the highest recovery rate. >17%, so Corona isn’t always mean death, but not getting proper care while being infected is.

@roun90 Nothing like that I want to post bad news only. There are many good things happening in India in this hour of crisis. Good samaritans like Man Mundra are distributing PPE worth lacs of rupees every day. Gurudwaaras in Delhi and everywhere are feeding thousands of people every day, two times. But one of my most favourite good news was from my beloved Namma Karnataka: cop in Karnataka who travelled 400km+ on bike to deliver medicines. Link

This is scary. 25yo died who had no other conditions. Private hospitals aren’t admitting patients, govt hospitals are overcrowded and not being managed. 19 out of 25 nurses in Ruby hall in Pune are tested positive. If you get corona, it will be a miracle to survive.

Just spoke to friend in Germany. they are gonna have lockdown for 2 more months with incremental relaxation. economy is going to get fked, their GDP growth rate is just 1%
-
CovidiIndia was showing some numbers against states from yesterday, corrected now.
-
728 already, day has just started.
-
Out of cases that are closed, 36% resulted in death. Even one takes 26% haircut to guess outcome of remaining cases, there are minimum 60,000 deaths coming in the US. I think they will cross 125k.

This is strange. ICMR’s Dr Ganga said, so far 80% of people who have been tested were asymptomatic. The family members are high risk, they should’ve been tested! Plus quarantine facility aren’t really great everywhere. There are common toilets and a lot of common spaces, a healthy person could get infected even visiting there. Finally, no one is able to understand incubation period of the virus. Today there were 6 cases in Kerala. 5 of them had travel history. Last flight was operated on 22nd March. It is already over 3 weeks, how the virus showing symptoms now is big mystery.

-1235 today. - Lowest in 3 days -, More than 400 recoveries - MH, GUJ biggest concerns but little relief everywhere else.

You can make your own booze with rice at home, lot of recipes available. ☺️

I would suggest everyone to stay home till May-end if they can. It is difficult but from the beginning I assumed that there would be some people out there with their full of bravado, craziness, and totally careless, who will not maintain social distancing, touch things unnecessarily, and pass on the virus to you unknowingly. Its WE who have to protect ourselves from these people. Luckily, I live in a city, where people are gentle and not total assholes, still wouldn't take chance....let this wave fade out.

People are reporting massive movements happening in MH/Mumbai during lockdown, since very beginning.
-
Looks like Mumbai has become green zone.

Arre yaar bangalore Ko to baksh do.

UP, Delhi yet to come. Don't think MP has given numbers either. Will cross 1500 and this was Sunday when usually less tests are done.
-
552 new cases in MH in one day. this is catastrophic.
-
Glad to be in Karnataka during this. State govt is good, pro-active, people are gentle, civilised. Only 6 cases today, knock on wood. I hope, they don't open Trains to/from here or open borders. What we have is good enough
-
Every admitted patient is tested at interval of 3 days. This is why Karnika had 6 tests. I don't think those samples are counted.
-
Crossed 6% This is not looking good.
