I don't see how this helps China. They might make billions from the pandemic, but they have lost big time. Was seeing this video from Italy where people weren't even taking free masks, distributed by CCP agents. What worse can happen now is that they will get sued for damages, if not for virus but for supplying substandard life saving stuff, trade malpractices....also their own population is damn angry.

Lot of other countries doing things we arent/cannot. Saudi Arabia has declared death penalty for spitting, UK sent a man to jail for 10yrs who coughed at a Doctor’s face on purpose. two different type of countries and yet both are upholding rule of law. We should too.

In Bangalore, it has worked well cuz citizenry is very much urban, migrant IT crowd, which doesn’t get involved in pangas. plus the low-income groups also paid better compared to other cities because of higher cost of living, makes it slightly easier to survive in downtime.

Lock down is not wasted. 75L people travel by Local trains in Mumbai alone. It would’ve taken just a week to reach 1L Infections in Mumbai, if there was no lockdown. Though warm climate and BCG have been helping us, plus it seems the Virus strain we have is less virulent.

Anyone using Airtel XStream STB? Like to know if anyone has connected DS4 controller to it. That thing never gets paired up, if paired up it doesn’t connect.
