  1. ^^ Independent movies....like 'blair witch project' or 'Jaane bhi do yaaron'. Not financed by a big movie studio, or made on a very low budget.

Good indies often get backings from big studio if they get some serious attention in film festivals. But that doesn't mean they are not indie anymore. See this list, you would be surprised so many movies you thought to be produced by big studios actually started as indies.

You should check these flicks, Cashback is in my list of favorites.

    - Unknown (2006)

    - Cashback (2006)

    - Lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels

  2. Watched Inglorious Basterds last night, it's simply the best movie I watched in 2009. And Christopher Waltz, OMG he is so good in it.

Is the rip doing the rounds on interwebz unrated one?

I really don't see anything too graphic in this, it's like 20% of violence shown in Kill Bill, very few F words, what the hell censor board found objectionable in this?

  3. Ya :P

Flying Buzzard on low altitudes is pain really and

that's what you gotta do in the first ever mission you fly it.

    :hi:

It becomes nightmare when you have to maintain low altitude with speed and gun down targets..

    Lol...Yusuf :hypocrite:

  4. Retrieving Lizbetta's dope from the old hospital. Those exploding gas cans in the various rooms are a pain in the a*s since the cop AI is complete crap.

Oh ya. That mission was major Pita. I must have died for atleast 5 times there. Go there in Kevlar, that's the only thing one can do :spank:

  5. Some of missions are fun, but the game is a lot bloodier than what I expected. And it has bit abrupt ending. They tried to connect the dots with the main story well but there's one mistake related to timing of the events in the game when seen in perspective with GTA. So you might be thinking why this guy is not dead yet.

Base jumping, Buzzard chopper, great voice acting and few new soundtracks are the high points.

They have done well in integrating Base Jumping with the missions. Beside the main story mission there are side missions for "Base jumps" with specific objective, like landing on a moving vehicle AND "Drug wars" with lot of gunfights(something I wouldn't be bothered about).

Good thing that I didn't have to visit the gunstore too many times, in GTA and TLAD, I had to replenish way too often. The new weapons are lethal, especially those sticky bombs and one new gun which fires small burst of bombs, kinda like a shotgun.

Only sad thing is that I didn't see many new cars.

  6. One of things which irritates me in GTA is that you cannot set different volume levels for Voice and SFX. The discussions in the car, when you are going to a location during a mission are always interesting but every time I miss out some part of it in the engine noise. You cannot keep looking at subtitles cuz that's even worse. I don't why they haven't fixed this yet. :-/

I was playing one of the missions involving Luis,

    Brucie and Lori,

and I could barely hear the convo, damn engine noise. :D

  7. ~50% finished, got laid :O, it was slightly more vivid than shown in that Video.

    - The figurine near the TV has some significance for sure :console: ,

a life size replica of the same can be seen in Yusuf Amir's Apartment.

    - Keyo mentioned about increased verticality of the gameworld, that seems true, now you can go really really high in a chopper. The first ever Base jump you make in the game is absolutely amazing.

    - They have got now some retarded scoring system which is based on how well you finish the missions, like vehicle damages, headshots etc. Getting gamerscore is quite tough now, finishing missions with 100% in each mission is way too tough.

    - Driving Tank is fun, though I got to drive it just once so far. It's actually more like one of those armored vehicles you see being used by US marines.

    - Many of the cast members from GTA and TLAD are there, I am yet to see Mr. Bellic though.

Pace of the story is slightly slower than TLAD but overall the game is enjoyable and it's totally worth the money.

Edit: The RROD box has "Toshi to game" on it. Don't know what does that mean.

  8. Where are you getting these codes people? :giggle:

Don't tell me that I gotta follow that Geoffrey Knightley dude's twitter. That guy teases like a beech and throws away codes which god only knows if they ever work.
