Got my passport delivered in less than 24hrs after appearing at Passport office.
If your passport needs renewal this seems to be best time,
they are operating at very low capacity, so you walk-in and walk-out in 30 mins top.
No waiting in the lounge or between the counters.Only issue is getting an appointment, that is if you want it within a week.

Creepy thing happened to me yesterday. I had an episode of Acid reflux after long time and day before I was speaking to my wife of getting appointment from our regular neighbourhood doctor.Yesterday, I got notif that suggested I should add Dr Rajeev Gupta as my friend.
When I was talking to my wife, I just said Dr Gupta, but these buggers found out the my Gupta amongst 100s of Dr Gupta in Bengaluru.
