Shouldn't even try to make money of patch that easy. Just release it. GTA 6 remaster I have played it a bit, defo improvement over PS4 version, but nothing groundbreaking that makes it worth a rebuy. It makes sense for players who are buying it for the first time and dont want to feel playing a 10yo game

The problem with PS5 pro is it's not exactly mid-gen, it's at 3/4 of the gen, so I am not expecting huge overhaul. RDR 60fps should be patched in yeah. That's a no brainer. Should do that.

Ps5 pro and ps5 won't have much difference in visual fidelity. But yeah good buy for first time buyers, especially those who gonna come for gta6

Gamers should have absolutely ZERO problem with Gamepass. Its a fantastic service for the gamers. Its just that it will kill AAA in long run. MS funded developers will either lose jobs or will be forced to make budget titles, before MS completely pulls the plug. Before acq Call of Duty's 1 year revenue would be easily more than what Gamepass makes for same time...it's a bad business.

The production cost in the west is through the roof. A 25 member team working under a developer(not indie) will cost ~3m in salaries and fixed every year. Now do a math for 200 member team, minimum that is needed to make this game. Bungie sitting in Seattle pays nearly 100k an average, even with 700 employees, their burn is 70m just on salaries. Rockstar is the last standing bastion of AAA, which has courage and wallet to make big games.

Obviously, people who are building games with budgets in north of 50mils will have problem with it, especially if they have made 4x+ returns in the past. Netflix would never get a Hollywood summer blockbuster on D0, if producers know the potential to be much higher. And we gotta accept the fact that in last 10 years, there have been much lesser people left who can spend 20hrs/week playing console games. People have finite time, they will choose to spend it on something that they find more entertaining than on something which is basically free. Cost is important but not everything. Today I barely find content to my liking on Netflix, I spend more time picking and giving it 10 mins to kick in, than watching something start to end.

These OEMs will create 6 version of Xboxes every year with wierd numbers and crap. Koi sasti wali LED laga dega, koi dabbe ke side ko transparent bana dega, koi controller pe lall rabad chadha dega kul mila ke brand ki mar lee jayegi.

This is a nightmare for console gamers. "Buy once, play for 5 years" will become "Buy often, check game compatibility for possible fidelity" Fixed hardware spec over a long period made the consoles the prefered gaming device. Over the period devs learned to extract extra juice from the same hardware. OEMs will not have such interests in mind.
