    People keep CPU/RAM/Motherboard for around 5-6 years and then upgrade.

     

    Chassis and powersupply don't need to be upgraded usually, and HDD/SSD again depends on your storage needs

     

    Currently a PC to rival PS5 specs will go to like 1.5 lakhs, if you want a PC to compete with the specs  but at a reasonable price better build your PC 2-3 years later.

     

    Thanks for the info. Yes I am not going to wait some years before buying PS5 or a PC. Though having done some research and considering finances I am going to stick with a console

    Hi all, I am looking to get PS5 probably in few years time. But instead if I were to get a PC with better specs than it. It is obviously going to be more expensive. ATM I do not have any PC at home. So I was wondering how often do PC gamer upgrade and how much does it cost ?

    I do believe in gaming on laptop. The lifespan of the laptop, battery, overheating issues. That is what I experienced in the past and have given up on heavy laptop with big battery. I know they still make it. May be  the tech is now feasible but I am not sure ?? High end gaming laptops like ROG series, alienware I am sure work but I am not sure about decent priced ones. May be you should consider desktop ?

    I live in Noida. I tried to build from rigassembler. I may have to pass video card for now lol.

     

    antec gx909 case +500watt psu is some 8K

    cpu, i5 8th gen + motherboard is some 21K

    ram + ssd is some 8K

    overall it was coming to some 42K

     

    Sometime back I read AMD is competitive again now with ryzen. But have not looked into it. PC gaming is still pretty expensive :huh:

    Looking for a 1080P gaming PC. I saw a yt video where Forza7 was running at 60fps on gtx 1050ti. I am ok if action adventure games at 30fps. Not really into PC gaming. But considering getting one. Browsed few site where pre build is coming to 50K and I think OS is also not provided. Kindly advise.

    Wow - what's wrong with you guys? Anything above 90% is phenomenal. Anti-climax is a game like FF13, where reviews have been just 'good' and not 'spectacular'.

     

     

    Yeah FF XIII din't get highest ratings either Edge gave 5/10 can't believe they think it is that bad :lol: Never took them seriously anyways.

     

     

    But yes after all reviews come everyone is going to settle down and enjoy the game :wOOtjumpy:

    CVG gave DI 9 and I thought GOW3 will get like 10 but it got 9.2 lol :doh:

     

     

    Score does not mean everything but you always want your best games to get high score. 9 or 9.2 is not bad by any means. I guess we have to get over it. Reviews is just opinion but sometimes I feel there is bias and no consistency what's so ever.

    Err ... It has turned out to be anti-climax. Now It will probably get average of 90% I guess.

     

     

    I was expecting much better scores :doh: It gives an impression that GOW2 was better game :cry: I don't know but for the first and last GOW game on PS3 they should have given little more. This is what happens when people try to find faults I guess :huh:

    Yes I know COD MW2 sold like crazy. PPl love to play it. GOW3 is different and more proper console game :rofl: I am not big fan of fps and not a PC gamer. But PC gamers love to play fps on gaming rigs. Probably PC gamers are more but many are pirates so sales do not reflect it

    Was reading a couple of comments in a blog where they compared Halo Reach with GOW3 and called Halo Reach to be GOTY and blah blah,honestly they were first comparing the HALO REACH pre rendered CGI with GOW3 real time render,and all halo fans went overboard calling GOW3 a stupid in the most blatant way.

     

    Halo Reach MP beta was leaked and the fans of the franchise are going overboard,ok i find nothing special in halo reach,same old halo game,same old generic visuals,but wait the game has got some sort of magical spark which makes the fans go excited,similarly its the same f******g magic but multiplied by 1600 times which makes us go super excited on God of War3

     

     

    Halo is for all wannabe fps guys on consoles :rofl:

     

    TBH fps is best with kb + mouse. But yeah many and I think in particular Americans love to play with a controller in front of TV so that series got really popular lol.

     

    GOW3 is more of a proper console game sales and score should not mean too much for a player :D

    They have said it. GOW3 will be 10+ hrs. It is good enough. Most people got bored of GTAIV and left the game after a while :panic: I think GOW3 will be 15hrs for normal player. But if you really good in such games then may be 10hrs or less is enough :doh:

     

    I think it will take me more than 15hrs. I will play in easy or normal but will replay again and try to beat in hard also

    GTTV video was great. GOW3 looks like CG indeed. Amazing achievement. I only do not like the brutality, I mean it just got far too much and also the first person view is sick :rofl:

     

    Having said that this game is epic win. Hope scores and sale do reflect it lol rather than complaining over petty things

    Looks like I am the only one who is too thrilled at Tendulkar 200.

     

    I mean he has done so much in cricket. It is time to leave. He still has the motivation to do, do not know what motivates him :ack: To play for records is cheap. Although it is really amazing of lately his performance is amazing but it is perfect time to retire and give a chance to another youngster. I bet many are still waiting when he will retire as there will open another opportunity lol.

    Sony should not show the gameplay or cool thing about GOW3. I hope they just tease with trailer. The latest trailer was epic as usual lol and did show one of the boss battles. They should hide these things and just tease. Because the player should experience the epic things live in front of the TV and that will be amazing feeling :bigyellowgrin:

     

    They should not show anything now that is the main thing. If you already watch all the videos and know all the things it will kill the fun factor and epic factor :chair:

     

    PS: GOW3 will be epic win no doubt about that

    KKR loose again. I do not know how this team is going to get inspiration from. It is really sad to see them loose one game after the other :( I do not like daredevils at all :) only Warner and AB are my fav players in that team.

     

    I think this time Super kings should win they have lot of nice players which I like :P Haydos, raina, dhoni, morkel, oram lot of nice powerful and good stroke player, bowling is all good. Jakati ??? whoever he is haha is doing good job too.

     

    Also symonds, watson and other will also join their resp teams so Deccan charges and Rajashtan royals will be more stronger in 1 weeks time :fear:

    I do not support any team in particular. Super kings is nice team though. It is very competitive tournament and for semis it is going to be tight, net run-rate will come into play I guess. I am not a fan of shah rukh khan but I really hope KKR can win today. I feel sorry for Brendon Mccullum, he is struggling with the bat hope he does well tonight and they can beat Daredevils
