TBH, if Beckham had started, and England has lost, most people would say why he started with Beckham, and not someone else with pace. That's how English media is. I am not a hater or anything, but I am just telling what I think is the truth.
France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands are all in a different league. It's not because the players are that inferior, but simple because most coaches can't handle the pressure of being an England manager, and getting criticized by the media for whatever they do. Having said that, McLaren is an idiot tactically. He just doesn't get that Gerrard, and Lampard, together, DON'T WORK. Now, both of these (atleast Gerrard), will be in anyone's Top 10 Midfielders List. But, you can't expect them to be effective together. Gerrard needs someone like Mascherano, to pick up the bits and pieces, allowing him to go forward. Similarly, Lampard needs an Essien and Mikel, to allow him the freedom he gets in Chelsea. Now, having Gerrard, with Hargreaves would have worked, and I am sure, England WOULD have won the match. You control the midfield, you control the game. But, obviously, McLaren, doesn't understand this, neither does he have the balls to put either Gerrard or Lampard on the bench. This, with the fact that English players don't have any passion if they are not getting paid 100,000 pounds a week, is the main reason why they don't do so well. Get a manager, with the balls to stamp his authority on the players. Get a manager, who can form a strategy that allows all the players to fit in. Get a manager who can drop players, so to fit others in his strategy. Get Mourinho, simple as that :tongue4:

Well said Sam. They just refuse to respect the other team, and accept defeat gracefully. From a neutral's point of view, I can say that in the end, the result was a fair one. Neither team deserved to lose (or win), and I didn't see any dodgy decisions from the ref.
On a happier not, what a win for the Pool!!

I agree with Sam. Arsenal should have come expecting a win. Liverpool are just pathetic this season. Anyways, I won't say you guys were robbed. You might have had most of the possession, but Mash and co were able to break down most of your plays. However, Liverpool was too defensive, and we actually played like the away side. God bless Mascherano, he prevented Arsenal from winning 3-1 or 4-1.

Seriously. One match, and you guys are going over the top with the referee thing. As I said, at the end of the season, it all evens out. It was ONE MATCH FFS. Anyways, it's not about being optimistic, it's about being realistic. Compare how Liverpool and Arsenal are playing, and you know who's going to win.
And Liverpool is never going to win, if only one player performs. The whole team has to perform like any other sports. TBH, we are missing Alonso and Agger much more than we are missing Torres. We need Alonso to provide the quality long balls down either wing, or to the forwards. And we need Agger even more, because Hyypia is no longer as good as he was earlier. Agger IMO was the most important player for Liverpool's CL run last year.

Cheeky. I admit that Liverpool got plenty of decisions in the derby, but that's really the first time I remember. We all know how the referee's decisions affected the ManU-Chelsea match, and how Liverpool got robbed against Chelsea. In the end, it evens out, so there isn't any need to bring that point up.

He is top racer, and what he did with the Renault was great. But he is arrogant, and a sour loser, and ruined the Mclaren team this year. Plus he supports Real Madrid, which is just out of order

Really, this season for F1 has been so refreshing. After all those years of just 1 driver dominating, it was 3 drivers, with a difference of 1 point between them. F1 has been brought to life again. But I am really sad it's already over. Have to wait many months, and I will be having my boards when I see my next F1 race

Yeh, ManU are almost back to their 100%, but still not to the vintage ManU of last season. I always have a laugh after watching Liverpool, and then watching ManU and Arsenal play. ManU and Arsenal are in a different league to Liverpool. I am not looking forward to next week

I think you should worry about Valencia as much as about Barcelona. They are in great form, and managed to pick up some superb players in Nikola Zigic, Javier Arizmendi and Helguera. If they are consistent enough, and don't suffer from too many injuries, they can be serious title contenders.

Nice to see both Real, and Barcelona losing, with Valencia, and Villarreal winning. Ill be really glad if either Valencia or Villarreal can win the La Liga this season. Sick and tired of seeing Real or Barca win every time. And what a win b Espanyol! They're up to 5th and looking really strong. They might challenge for a CL spot this season, with the quality of players they have.

Playing Lucas, Mascherano and Sissoko, which we're going for a win against a 10-man team! Where's the Rafa, that led Valencia to La Liga glory by playing some beautiful football? Very, very controversial decisions, but thats the Merseyside derby for you! And why am I complaining? 3 points for Liverpool
Now Im hoping Torres, Alonso and Agger are fit for next week's big game. Then we can get back to our normal 4-4-2 formation, with Torres and Kuyt upfront, and Gerrard and Alonso at the centre of midfield.

Yes, I would recommend the XFX 650i. Rock solid, and OCs like crazy. But I don't get why so many people are going for quad cores. Unless you are doing some heavy rendering, or encoding HD movies, there is no use in buying quad cores. You can get an E6750 5k cheaper, and gaming performance is the same as quad core. You can probably OC it better as well on stock cooling. Save the 5k, spend more on the GFX card, better PSU, or a bigger hard drive.
But im not getting a new computer for 3-4 years after this and i cant change the processor so i might as well get the newest 1 and i can upgrade the rest when i need to.
Wouldn't it be better to upgrade the processor when needed? I change my processor almost every 6 months. Even with this processor, it's going to get obsolete withing 2 months. It's always better to buy the 'mid range' processor of each generation (which lasts about 5-6 months), which cost not more than 7k. Just my 2 cents..

Heroes' season has disappointed me. Too short, too rushed, stupid plot lines, none of the excitement of the first season. Good thing is Tim Kring kniows where Heroes has gone wrong. I am guessing that's why he decided to cut the season short, start fresh with a new one.
Hmm, medical shows arn't really my cup of tea, but I'll give this a try. Should I start with the first season, or the latest one?
