    Its not. The difference between the M5 and M3 in the power delivery is astounding. The straight line performance difference alone makes it worthwhile.

     

    But there's only a 0.2s difference between the M3 and M5 when it comes to 0-60mph times.

     

    Isn't the extra 100 or so horsepower there to compensate for the extra weight and size of the M5?

     

    I have only driven one of these things - a daring friend of my dad's let me take his M5 (3-4 years ago I think) for a spin (2-3 km) around some place near Wellingborough (though driving an M5 around plainly is hardly gonna help me get to know the power of the car). And we were lucky that no cops stopped me and asked for my license. helps that the UK drives on the same side of the road as us :bigyellowgrin:

     

    maybe one day I'll have enough money to buy me one of these without having to rob MT. . .

    The M5 is overkill trust me, M3 is just right. I doubt we will ever be able to afford these in our lifetime with a legit way of life :D

     

     

    I don't know... at $85,000 I think it's a pretty good deal for an outright buy. . . As in, slightly bigger car - a 5 series instead of a 3. Not really for the power or speeds achievable.

     

    I agree it's overkill though. Still, if you're saving for an M3, one might as well save up for an M5. :)

    Do I see ///M badging on there? Its a really really nice car, way overpriced in India. I would take the M3 over this anyday having been in both. I will have to say the M5 is a very special car, the feel of being in it, knowing that you can thrash a Gallardo is priceless.

     

    Mine too (as in dream car). Made kinduva promise to myself that I'll get one of these after I get a job (yeah that'll be a few years with an MS degree next on my list). Yes, with the M badging. Either the 3 or the 5.

    I can't whistle using fingers, can do with my lips only. There are two kinds - the one that can keep a tune and the other shrill loud one which falls under the category 'Please slap me'.

     

    I'm guessing you haven't ever gone to a proper Rajinikanth flick first day... You'd have to hand these out :

    Watched "The Expendables" today.. Don't know so many people are calling it crap.. not like people don't lap up other crap these days. This was meant to be out and out action with a thin story line, and it does that job well despite some spots with questionable CG, and it brings together so many contemporary action stars. Great guest appearances by Bruce Willis and Arnie :thumbsup:

     

    Not quite the A-Team, but yes an enjoyable movie nonetheless

    yeah, of course, if you want to play online, you'll have to update. That is, unless you can control your desire for a week. Or you can go the proxy way.

    Looks like I'll have to learn to hold off the updates too.

    Why don't you want to update to the new firmware? I just did..is it buggy? :|

     

     

    I don't know, a few threads on the playstation forums talking about the usual bricking and problems with some games online and USB errors and stuff. Maybe a minority, but I'm just waiting till it's absolutely necessary for me to upgrade to the next FW before I do so.

    thats what i meant as well, i'm not the only one here who has the SGS so obviously "show-off" ki baat hi nahi aati :chair::bash::bicycle:

     

     

    WHERE DID I EVER SAY ANYTHING ABOUT SHOWOFF?? :rant: There is no mention about you anywhere except that I quoted your post. And my reply was totally about the fact that there are so many SGS owners here now..

    If someone else said it, then go scold him instead :thumbdown:

    Do you even read posts before trying to be funny? I clearly meant that me having an SGS is *not* something unique or smth to showoff :doh:

    Why should it matter to anyone ( read : YOU ) if I use a particular app on my phone?

    And please lets not go the niggles way... you cannot possibly rant about a device you don't even own <_<

    Sheeesh.... what the hell is wrong with you Uncle? :ko: All I meant by my post was that I was in agreement with you over the fact that everyone has an SGS. That is the only part I was even concerned with... Where am I ranting about the device I don't own? And when did I even say ANYTHING about Tapatalk? And I did not say anything even remotely similar to "nice way to showoff".

     

    My post was not at all directed at you. I just quoted yours cos it had a line about everyone having an SGS. :(

    I don't know, it wasn't "slow" in a bad way. You'll like it if you know a bit of English history (the film does however take a few liberties - alright so it rearranges the whole sequence of events) and the legends surrounding Robin Hood. It's an origin story, meant to flesh out how Robin Hood came to be an outlaw and showing how he was in a sense betrayed by the King. It's not a tale of his exploits as an outlaw (unless they make a sequel to it).

     

    It would have been fine if they'd titled this "Robin of Loxley" or something, since it shows him becoming Robin hood only in the lat 10 minutes or so of the movie.

    Funny thing is that everyone has one, hence not exactly unique.. and some of the people who have one are finding that it isn't quite the most awesome thing out there unless u really tinker with it.
