  1. Watched Centurion today, it was like the Director got a bit too much into the " MMMmmmmm there's so much blood spattering all around, so let's add a few more cleaved heads and limbs" vibe.

Anyway, not that bad... good for a movie to watch when you have nothing much else to do. The uncertain fate of Legion IX Hispana gave the storytellers plenty of room to work with.

  2. I'm getting it for 27.5k is it better price in mumbai ? Also do i need to check something before i buy ? Heard rooting and all is there samsung would have disabled it now ? Anything i need to get it checked before purchase.

27.5 seems pretty decent. Do all the devices have a front cam? Maybe you could make sure the one you buy does.

  3. Nokia finally did something right :wOOtjumpy:

No, I'm not quite talking about using a proper OS, but hey this'll do for now

All my years of reading The Economist were for nothing because I always thought Paraguay’s top export were fruits and vegetables from hard working people living on farms, but apparently it’s ridiculously hot models who have no problem putting devices such as the Nokia E71 and C3 between their breasts for the sake of promotion. Earlier this year during the World Cup we shared some photos of Larissa Riquelme and the E71 she was keeping warm by placing them between her soft serve ice cream dispensers. Today there’s a video showing her pulling the same stunt, but with the recently made available C3.

What was once a fine novelty that circulated around cubicles and mobile phone technology blogs has now become quite the novelty. If Nokia starts doing this more often then you’ll get women’s rights groups complaining, possibly even other mobile phone companies imitating the idea and being even more creative by placing their products between two other glorious parts of the female anatomy. There’s no story here, at all. The C3 is a dumb phone that’s only interesting feature is the QWERTY keyboard and support for WiFi at a price point less than 100 EUR.

Sony Ericsson tried something similar by getting tennis star Anna Kournikova to pose in photos with their pieces of kit, but what good did that do? And don’t even get me started on the South Koreans, who when announcing devices at press junkets have 1 model per demo unit, batting their eyelashes, trying to get you to ignore how awful Samsung’s TouchWIZ, and whatever LG calls their beastly interface, really is. This type of marketing gets you attention for 200 milliseconds, but if you’re seriously the type of person who buys a phone after seeing it placed between a pair of tits then you need to get laid more often.

    Much more often.

  5.

    Arranged Marriage FTW!

That depends on your luck :P

Who knows whether the goods you get are pre-owned

EDIT: Like milol says, I'd rather get a trial run / get acquainted with the instructions first rather than jump straight in

  6. ^ Damn.

It's like girls keep a different set of eyes for 'suitors'. Why do they spend loads of time with a guy if they're not interested in him in that way?

Cos most guys will loosen their wallets readily for a girl. :P Yeah, a lot of them are like that even when they are innocent.

  7. when in doubt, try alcohol. it works, almost always. :D

Unless you get drunk and pick up the phone. Drunk dialing = huge mess to deal with in the days after

May be you are not playing the correct games :scratchchin:

    That sounds :naughty:

Looks like this thread exploded over the last evening.

  8. Why? Why do u want to know? :chair::bash:

    And the Archos 32:

    archos_32_amazon-319x500.jpg

Having made its debut at the FCC a few weeks back, the new Archos 32 Android PMP/MID is getting further pushed into the limelight with a new set of information added to the Amazon preorder page. From the spec list, we know the Archos 32 has 8GB of onboard storage, a 3.2-inch 400 x 240 resolution display, WiFi, Archos AppLib software download access, a web-browser supporting multitouch pinch-zoom, and an integrated camera for shooting photos and videos.

There’s also broad audio codec support, with the new PMP content with MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, OGG, and FLAC formats for audio (together with optional AC3 5.1 support) and MPEG-4 HD, MPEG-4, H.264 HD, WMV9/ACP, and MJPG codecs with various extensions: AVI, MP4, MOV, 3GP, MPG, PS, TS, VOB, MKV, FLV, RM, RMVB, ASF, and WMV. Under the hood is an 800MHz Cortex A8 processor with DSP, and 3D OpenGL graphics acceleration.

The Archos 32 is currently listed at $147 though there’s no indication of when Amazon expect the PMP/MID to begin shipping. We’re still more than a little disappointed by the mere WQVGA resolution – cellphones with 3.2-inch screens have managed 480 x 320 – together with the absence of the full Android Market.

  9. Well to be true its a fantastic phone, forgot to mention i saw the phone today and used it for like 10 mins ....everything is pretty much perfect but the hardware cuts the deal for me...... :scratchchin: ...the plastic to me didnt feel premium quality

But .. but.. it won't break if you drop it or anything... :samui:
