wtf .... quoting HUGE pics

Nice buys, especially that lit up iron man

I'd have cut out the corner of the ad that says "Mak makes it possible" but too much work.. was thinking of how to toot my own horn in my SOP (head breaking work getting started).
Master chief figurine

And alpha protocol.. nice buy... though I got it for free (Reviewer's copy or Promo copy or whatever it's called) straight from Sega UK. Still haven't played it.

Watched Kung Fu Kid (yeah that movie) starring the little black kid who deserved the a*s kicking he gets in the beginning of the movie for how he acts tough with that poor old dude who wanted the ball back.

I see now how it's so easy for the chinese censors to simply cut 7 minutes from this movie and turn it into a flick in which the black dude is the antagonist who acquiesces the Chinese way of life and Kung Fu.

Besides, the kid is barely 12 and he's already romancing a Chinese chick ... gimme a break

Overall, nice timepass movie, thanks to atleast Jackie Chan being there.

This so called FUP is being implemented in other countries as well. Australia/UAE etc also have FUPs albeit limits are 100 GB/200 GB or so.
Airtel's FUP is hit or miss. I am pretty sure I crossed my FUP limit this month and I'm still getting full speeds. This is the case with many others as well. I think they r not FUPping the older customers.
The other day I read an article online of this guy who choked a Belgian ISP with his 3 terabyte download in 1 month!
I am an older customer damn it.... And I AM GETTING FUPed.. FUPing airtel.. FUP them..

After 15gb elapses, I get hit with a speed restriction. 512kbps. I don't get it. It's supposed to go down to 256kbps. But it doesn't. And until the FUP limit is hit I get 1mbps.
It's like I'm stuck in the Train station between the Matrix and the machine world!

Wat is the price of galaxy s in US

That depends on what carrier you're getting it from and with what plan.
-
Now the Galaxy S on US carriers is dead easy to unlock - http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/22/confirmed-galaxy-s-unlock-codes-are-stored-in-your-phone-vibra/
Sure, the Samsung Vibrant's a T-Mobile device and the Samsung Captivate belongs to AT&T, but there's no longer any reason you can't swap them around -- all you need is a simple script and a USB cable to completely unlock your phone. Dagentooboy of XDA-Developers discovered that Galaxy S unlock codes aren't kept in a secure remote server, but merely stored in a .BAK file on the device itself, which you find with a hex editor and key right in when inserting a new SIM card of your choice. We tested it out on both Vibrant and Captivate and were up and running in less than five minutes each time, and wonder of wonders, the Vibrant gave us a 3G data connection (with 2Mbps down) using an AT&T SIM. Sadly, we can't say the inverse for the Captivate, which pulled down standard EDGE speeds on T-Mobile, but this is already far more than the hacking community could have hoped for. The best part? None of this requires you to actually root the phone, and if you're worried about warranty you can re-lock the handset with the very same code.

gaurav awesometrying now

will it work on any pc?

Any Intel based PC, yes.
AMD may sometimes fail.
You can also run a VM as such within windows for trying out android using android SDK. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/21831/how-to-test-drive-google-android-on-your-pc-without-buying-a-phone/

Don't know if this has been posted, here goes:

And I was wondering nobody liked it. :|
The attention to detail is awesome, and the music is so so cool !!
I watched the whole thing the very day it was put up, brilliant piece of work .... the music was so catchy.... and I found the makers' perspective on life - the two contrasting paths - very conducive to introspection.

Looks like exam prep has screwed up your sense of humor

And I got 1460

Went shopping a bit after the exam and ended up at a place that had a few Galaxy S in the opposite shop. It was so tempting
... but resisted temptation.. for now.. -
Just scored 2212 in Quadrant
Congrats!

I hope I score something high (atleast above 1400) too
in the GRE tomorrow at 9am

why d fook would someone do that?

Some pen drives / usb drives / flash drives / whatever u call 'em .. are actually flashed to make them appear like they're higher capacity (32GB or 64GB) as opposed to their actual capacity (256mb sometimes
).Those are common in Pallika bazaar and places like Burma Bazaar in chennai and MBK in Bangkok. The last one was where my dad went and bought a 64GB Sony microvault
.. this is what happens when I leave Dad loose someplace for tech related shopping. He's pretty tech savvy but flashing the chip to make it look bigger is beyond him. Now that drive is used merely for the purpose of holding a digital photo frame's supply of photos. -
I'm not exactly the biggest fan of the Indian cricket team, but even I found yesterday's no-ball by Randiv very very unsporting. F u Randiv

Watched prince of persia today... liked it a lot.. pretty decent for a game tie-in, and a good action movie as such.

It was about IP/copyright infringement that the site owner was not authorized to distribute HTC proprietary content.
As jiggy said, google has not officially launched it in India but you don't need to root to install brut maps.
So, is putting up ROMs for download infringement?
-

Stole this off a Gizmodo article about Justin Bieber ... I think....
-
Just a question, what was that recent shutdown of a site peddling HTC ROMs about? Does that mean HTC phone users can only accept official updates from HTC?
-
No idea. Don't have an American accent. MT might be of assistance though.
Haha, noticed that when I talked to him

Does it work with this guy's accent?

Don't know if this has been posted, but a search for edwin on this thread turned up zilch.

Why did you discount the Galaxy S from consideration? Cos it looks a bit iPhoney?
