  1. Thanks Gaurav. Saw the video but without sound as I am at work at the moment. Let me go and watch it again at home. So no MetroPCS, it would seem from the video.

On a side note, the video showed off Google Maps, and when it zoomed down, it showed exactly the place where I am right now. Creepy.

Muhahaha now I know where you are

The article is more important than the vid ... vid's just a general overview.

You may rep if you find it useful please.

Sheesh, now I'm asking for reps.. :giggle:

  2. Ahhh, so that is what AT&T's SSG Captivate is about. That would answer what Gaurav was asking me. Any major difference in the 4 versions on offer?

I was wondering if MetroPCS has the phone on offer. Awesome call rates but the downside is that I will have to make-do with a CDMA version, assuming that is even available.

  3. A little late I guess.

If you're paying good amount of money for laptop and move quite often with laptop, then I'd suggest complete cover. If anything happens, Dell will do the needful - no questions asked. 3years is a long time. Btw, what is the price difference these days between limited warranty and complete cover? I believe you can buy complete cover later on when required. So better to compare the prices first.

HDD, mobo, slot load drive etc are covered in limited warranty also. But accidental cases/user caused damages are not covered in limited warranty. This is where you need complete cover.

Back in April, laptop fell from my hands and screen, mobo, cover etc were replaced :good:

Thanks. yeah she decided yesterday to go with the completecover. It's just a difference of 2k between complete cover and limited warranty of 3 years.

  4. Get this Sell it Buy a new Sexy one! if it is new you will get good money

Nokia is the only phone with Value

Hahaha, why would I do that. I have the cash to buy a new phone if i want. i'm saving now for something better a year down the line (or whenever I lose my self-control).

I'm only thinking about this because my dad offered to exchange phones for now.

  5. X6 if you dont mind Touch Screen

I don't. He does. These days I don't really need to hide my texting though I sit in the first bench at college. Finally in my 4th year. Part of the reason I went for a non-touch phone (well, back then there was just the iPhone as an alternate when I bought an N79 3 years ago)

  6. Would like opinions.

An exchange of my N79 (for free) with a Nokia X6. What do you think I should do? Take it? Or just let status quo prevail?

It's cos my dad doesn't like touchscreen phones (he wants a keypad) but then he was dead set on Nokia (when I told him to get a HTC phone or the Spica instead) and ended up buying the X6 (which was the only recommendation I could give based on his Nokia fetish).

No, I'm not asking for opinions like "Buy an iPhone" or "Galaxy S is secks!" ... just between these 2.

  7. Tch Tch.. U r soooooooooooooo Gay! :eyebrow:

    He's not GAY! he's BI. There's a difference :P

is not that the in thing with you womenfolk now days ??

what with those shaved twilight fairies ?

 Yeah, all these women and twilight.. sheesh, i don't see what there is in that crap series that attracts them like moths to a bonfire.

  8. Ya Right.. money and merc... :threatenlumber: and you missed Xbox, PS3, Wii, DVDs, Blue Rays, Dil, Pyaar, Neend, Chain.. and more..

    BLU RAY :rant::ranting: B L U !!! :furious:

This is the most stupid revelation of all times.. I am me and not MT.. Jesus! :eyebrow:

    No, no, I ain't Jesus either :P

Hmmm.. so you do accept that it is a revelation.. even if it's stupid.

So first it was MT, now KC has fallen too... this is like a Zerg invasion yo!

  9. To make me even angrier, my fone is now dead...fell in my dogs drink bowl when it slipped outta my hand

Cant believe so much bad sh*t can happen on such a beautiful day!!!

    :console: I feel your pain.

Maybe try letting it get some air? Ya know, open it up, let all the stuff dry out well and check in the morning?

  10. I'd rather wear that lame swine flu mask than this god-damned Scam-of-Forever 3 tee.

And due to the overwhelming backlash by their loyalists, they invented a return policy.. and cleverly put a clause that they will accept the tee back only if its unused and unwashed.

Yeah right, so u order the game + tee... it arrives more than a month after the game. And they expect u to resist the urge to wear it... and on top of that "not wash" it. The return policy was introduced more than a more after the tees reached everyone. Who amongst us would keep unwashed clothes lying around aise hi for a month?

    :clapping:

Damn right. I didn't wear it cos I didn't like the first tee from the beginning and I had my exams on in college back then. The replacement was fine, but then I had to pay 100 bucks of my own money to courier my first tee back to them and get the properly printed replacement. Definitely not worth spending 350 to get a GOW tee. Not that 100 bucks is any big amount, but then as a matter of policy they shouldn't have put the onus on us to sort the stuff out.

And yeah, it's not like it was our fault that we got defective tees. Consoul should have refunded the cash or let us keep both tees. Not insist on a "no usage before returning" policy.

    @Firefox..

Very cute comic. But yeah, the latest version of FF crashes every half hour at will. And sometimes it even makes Win 7 blue screen. A task that even my f**ked up Netgear drivers for the wifi card find difficult to accomplish. It's made me shift to Google Chrome.

  11. Go with the warranty dude..

i guess you just need to pay some extra 2000rs ryt?? its totally worth because dont expect the Dell to live more than one year without any problem!

I mean limited warranty Vs. Dell Completecover (drop, spill, throw laptop out of window, dog pisses on it, we still fix it blah blah)

  12. yes, get the cover.. it's worth it.. Dell Service is too good..but the laptop quality isn't. Most of them also have heating issues and they also raised the prices recently..Best option right now (if u can wait a bit) would be to get the Asus U43JC

It's not for me, it's for a *friend* whose whimsical dad (he says yes one day, no the next, so best to go for it while he's saying yes  ) doesn't think ASUS is a well-known brand name. So yeah, atleast he's agreed to a Dell.

Her PC is ancient to say the least. hence difficult to wait even further.

  13. Need quick answer. Do help ASAP.

When buying a Dell Laptop (namely a 15 inch Dell Studio 15) would it be better to go for a 3 year complete cover or would that be unnecessary? How good is dell service and does getting a complete cover offer (in reality) any significant benefit over getting just a limited warranty?
