Anyone seen Judge Dredd (1995)? Is it worth watching?
Is it.... is it worth watching? How could you even ask that question ....

Watch. Right. Now.

I'm talking about the TPU Androidified ones. They also have a Persona series in TPU, the offer's valid on both. The crappy part's that they charge almost $17 to ship x3 cases to Mumbai

Personally, I love the concept and the funk offered by the CLite casings. Moreover, I'm a fan of branding. I'd ordered the Capdase 2Xpose edition, luckily it was COD, they gave me a call to confirm and I cancelled it. The CL one's are well worth it compared to the Xpose series which looks way too vanilla.
FYI, seems like the Amzer's have received a lot of bad reviews. The quality ain't as good as one would expect, doesn't fit right and has a "stench" to it, supposedly. Then again, the price at which they offer it makes it tempting for most folks.
You want in for one of the cases?
No, there's no point in me wanting in, I'm kinda happy with the case I have and I can get it without importing anyway. I don't know, the Amzer ones can have that stench sometimes - especially the flexible silicone ones. The silicone ones with the polycarbonate snap-on don't seem to have that issue though. And the fit is right.
Yesterday I gave Google Wallet (via NFC) a try at a CVS store here in Boston. It was the first time so I went with my wallet as a backup
The clerk was like "Dude, I haven't seen anyone do that". First, I used the $10 that Google gives you free, then I selected my BOA Visa card (debit) on the app and used that. Both went through flawlessly. This sh*t is pretty useful if you ever forget your wallet and are at a store that has a reader. Those Mastercard Paypass readers are a lot more common these days. -
That's a $1000 dollar projector!

I'm facing a weird issue with my SII. I'm on ICS and recently just clicked on update software in settings .... OTA update on wi-fi. It downloaded the update and installed it successfully (even showed me a message that said that). But, since then, i keep getting prompts on my phone saying 'update package available' , and so far, it has updated 3 times back to back .... I dont see any change in the build / kernel version nos in the settings. Anybody else face this issue ?
On a non-stock recovery? Anything at all changed from stock?

On a side note, anyone interested in getting a Cruzerlite TPU case for the Nexus? They've got some kick a*s designs along with a buy 2 get 1 free offer. Knocks the socks off the Capdase and Casemate cases. Will be ordering 'em tomorrow. Let me know if anyone wants in, can split the shipping cost.
FYI, they've got cases for quite a few oher models too. I did quite ambit of research, these seem like definite VFM.
The "Androidified" ones or the Argyle ones? Just curious. I didn't like Cruzerlite being written on it big so I went with the clear Diztronic TPU Rev3 case which only had a small logo. Then I went and got an Amzer case with the stand and found later that that one has AMZER written in bold white lettering on the stand

Edit, did that but did not work. After launching the game the values go back to 1600x900. http://t.co/Yqn6BVwa

Oh man... -
6 month ban coming up for you.

-
Oh god, wait... I think I'm slightly confusing you guys.... I meant the NFC app from Google - Google Wallet - for use on NFC phones like the Galaxy Nexus. To pay at stores like CVS where they have those NFC readers or Mastercard Paypass readers. I'm not sure about whether any cards (until now only Citi Mastercards) can be added online. My Bank of America VISA (debit) and my international AMEX (credit) both work. Haven't yet tried the IndianOil Mastercard or Matrix VISA. I'll give my 2 VISA credit cards from BoA a shot when I get them in mid-August.
If it works on the Wallet app then it most certainly should work online. What Google Wallet is now doing is adding your card via a virtual Mastercard. So I don't see a reason why it shouldn't add online (unless there's some region restriction). I don't know whether this is connected to the Play Store itself accepting any new kind of credit cards/debit cards.
As for the app itself, it was on my phone already but I had to go to the Play Store and hit update to get it to install the newest version. Didn't automatically update.

I saw it yesterday for the 7th time myself.
:OThat movie never gets old.
Spoiler alert?

You want spoiler alerts for THIS movie? That they show boobies and that people get stripped to the bone by prehistoric fish is kinduva given isn't it?
-
This movie 'inspired' me to find and watch the original Piranha (3)D.
I'm putting the number in brackets cos I didn't really see the 3D versions.
In any case, another wonderful movie
where you can see people being devoured and killed in every way possible - not just by hungry prehistoric fish. Best moments of the movie were 1. When the silicone from one of the victim's boobs floats up
and 2. the underwater makeout session via the glass-bottom. Watching people being retards when they're being attacked by some monstrosity with a gratuitous show of boobies is always fun. Kinda felt the first one was better though the second had more.... errr.... creativity in some respects
Wish they'd taken the second movie off from where the first one's 'cliffhanger' (gotta use quotation marks here, it was that much of a
moment) ending left off. Instead they went with the same crap again and threw in that David Hasselhoff bugger (eewww) -
Piranha (3)DD.... What a movie.... such innovative methods to kill people with Piranhas
not to mention innovative ways to show off boobies
Best Line in the movie: "What? I thought you were gay!"

Google Wallet now takes all cards - debit and credit!

http://techcrunch.com/2012/08/01/google-wallet-all-credit-debit-cards/
Of all the limitations that Google’s NFC-based Wallet payment system had, perhaps the biggest was that of card compatibility — once you blew through that free $10 credit, it only ever worked well if you owned a CitiBank MasterCard.Note the use of the past tense in that sentence. Google recently revealed a substantial update to the Wallet service that allows it to (finally) play nice with Visa, Discover, and American Express credit or debit cards.
It’s all thanks to a dramatic change in how Google Wallet handles users’ credit and debit card information — Google Wallet product manager Robin Dua explains it like so:
To support all credit and debit cards, we changed our technical approach to storing payment cards. The Google Wallet app now stores your payment cards on highly secure Google servers, instead of in the secure storage area on your phone. A wallet ID (virtual card number) is stored in the secure storage area of the phone, and this is used to facilitate transactions at the point of sale. Google instantly charges your selected credit or debit card.
That’s not all Google has been working on — also on deck is a new remote wipe feature that allows users to reset the Wallet app and purge all related financial data right from the service’s online management site.
While the update has effectively opened up the service to scores of new users, Google Wallet still has a ways to go before it becomes as ubiquitous as Google likely wants it to be. A quick look at the list of supported devices highlights nicely how much headway Google has to make — there are only eight devices listed, and all but two of them (the unlocked Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus 7, naturally) are tied up with Sprint.
Now that the action has moved to the cloud and secure element issue isn’t really an issue any more, one has to wonder if Verizon customers will finally be able to get in on the NFC payment fun (officially, anyway). The carrier took issue with the app’s use of that secure hardware element, and cited it as a reason why the service wasn’t available for the LTE Galaxy Nexus late last year. Alas, that hurdle doesn’t seem to have been cleared yet — it doesn’t appear in the Play Store while searching on my VZW Galaxy Nexus, and the app (which I installed way back when) itself still refers to the device as “unsupported.”

CodeEvo, that really really reminds me of the All-Black setup I had back home in Chennai. Nice. Except I didn't have any consoles on the same table all that was in the hall downstairs.
Anyway, right now I wish I had a 'setup' other than the 3+ year old laptop that's a poor excuse for a gaming machine

The only reason I can laugh at Dolan joke is that seeing someone laughing at them and thinking how poor his sense of humor is.

I have Windows 7 64 Bit. I dont have 14 GB of my space wasted. Why? Because I don't have Hibernate enabled, and I dont allow Windows to use page file as I have 8 GB RAM. I have kept it bare minimum.
Genuine problem my a*s. People have become so used to "simple" things that they forgot that they are the owners of the OS and can change configurations based on their needs. But how can they do that? That would be too complex. The OS makers themselves might do that for them, because you know, we need simple stuff.
I saw a movie called "Idiocracy" where it is shown that the world becomes so retarded in the future that an ultradumb guy of current age is a highly rated genius at that time after he survives life for 100s of years. The reason for that world was different, but our over dependence on SIMPLICITY and letting machines do the work for us is leading towards it.
So stop relying on simple things and continue using your brains.
I caught that flick too.... man, genius that movie

It's not like Windows did something unexpected, it used a hibernation file because you enabled Hibernation or left it on. I've gotten Windows to run on my Air in both Bootcamp and Parallels without much effort. And likewise I've gotten OS X Snow Leopard to run inside a Virtualbox virtual machine with a bit of trouble. It's not MS' fault if Apple makes it so difficult for you to use Windows on a Mac (or offers you a measly amount of HDD space for a huge amount of your money
) and writes crappy drivers for W7.And if you didn't have a problem running parallels under Lion, iChilles, how come you had W7 acting up all of a sudden on ML
Don't drown yourself in the kool-aid, I love how OS X is good for casual use and for media work. However, it has its own annoyances in things like uninstalling. sh*t, some stuff catches on like the plague and you just can't do that icons-shaking-uninstall thing either. So when you don't know how to do something (like I don't know how to do some stuff on OS X) ask, instead of blaming Windows for it
