I never got my phone off the play store but this unit came straight from Google (literally, it was meant for Google employees). I had a yakju device but I've always gotten updates ASAP direct from them. The poor Verizon bastards have to sit there holding their dicks and hoping an update comes along soon enough.

JB has made me realize how awesome it is to have the latest Nexus device. I haven't ever had to go flash myself a non-stock ROM since upgrading to a G-Nex.

Another thing for Batman Begins, wasn't it uncharacteristic for Batman to not save Ra's? "I won't kill you but I don't have to save you."
Especially considering he even saves the Joker.

Edit: Just got the 4.1.1 update a few minutes ago. I wonder when the legion of Note and S3 users would get it. Poor suckers.

There better not be any reviews / spoilers here before the first weekend is done. Or else.... say goodbye to winning any contests posted here

Seriously though, they have a preview show right near my office but I can't get away from work until Friday night so I'm only gonna watch it Saturday. No spoilers
please -
Awake cos I'm still at work

-
+1 . I miss that kinda food.
-
for the spoiler part and then the bold part, u don't deserve to live another day, die asap :|
No offence but

+1 to that. I mean, seriously, if you couldn't understand that... then you shouldn't be watching movies.

So which lucky people get to see TDKR in IMAX in India?...Mumbai, which other city? Delhi also Im sure
We just had the discussion a few pages ago, I don't think Delhi has any imax (atleast as far as what was said or what's listed on imax's page)

I guess it's time for a 'revision' of Begins and Dark Knight!

Good News: Completely free trip to San Diego complete.
Bad News: 2 6-7hr flights in 3 days kinda leaves you feeling like a zombie at work.

Good News: Another free trip to San Jose, California later this month or the next

Well frankly your endings are only really influenced by the
last 2 sections - when you're talking to Konrad and when you meet the expeditionary force of Marines at the end.
The rest of your actions don't really change the endings.

^You have two, send one to him

He needs to be poorer than me to qualify for that benefit

This is supposed to be a move discussion thread, post stuff, discuss that sh*t. what's wrong with you people?
If its bothering you so much, don't visit, if you want to visit, don't pay attention to TDKR updates.
+1 It's not like you have to click on every link you see.

Soooooo tempted to get a Galaxy Nexus just for the full fledged Now functionality and Jelly Bean goodness.
You know you want to

Found this one late but OMG

Anyone tried Dead trigger?...its only 99 cents so I am guessing they lure u to buy in app stuff
It's nice. But IAPs ruin the game. After 2 levels, you conveniently lose the only decent gun you have and they force you to buy a pistol using the credits you'd have accumulated. If you want the rifle you had back you'll have to pay and as stronger zombies come in the third level and onwards, you'll get killed pretty easily with no way to get on except repeating the level a million times till you're successful at it. So grinding ftw
The only way you can get that gun back is to throw some cash at the game. -

OMG

Dying of laughter... genuinely funny ...

I've heard about the whole LieMax / Imax debate before but I usually don't pay attention to it much. I can't be bothered to wake up and travel more than 3 hours to get to Reading, MA to see a movie in 70mm IMAX if I can get a larger than usual screen and more immersive experience at a "LieMax" that takes me about an hour to get to even if it's not as nearby as the standard screen. Yes, I'd definitely love to go to Reading but the 8 mile drive turns into a 3+ hr ride into Boston from Burlington and then out to Reading from Boston. Never mind the fact that I have to take the same ride back

I wish I had a car, cos without one it's prohibitively expensive to rent one when you're below 25 with no credit cards, and I won't pay 40 bucks each way to get a taxi for a 15 dollar movie lol.
The Boston Commons one where I'll be going is actually pretty good, larger screen than most so-called LieMax ones, and the sound is supposed to be pretty kickass. Maybe if someone from the office is heading out to see DKR a weekend after its release at Jordan's Furniture IMAX in Reading, I'll tag along for a second viewing. Otherwise, this is enough for me.

So you guys may want to avoid it.
Ooops... too late.

Good News: I'm gonna be in San Diego during Comic-Con.
Bad News: All tickets sold out at Comic-Con

Worse News: I have to fly literally across the broadest part of the country to get there and back (Boston - SD - Boston).
Slightly better news: I'm not paying for any of it.

I tested out Siri earlier today. Apparently it doesn't recognize Indian names. Wouldn't register Goa, Amitabh, etc. However, it gave me really accurate results for other questions, albeit basic. It'll work perfectly fine if you're out of the country and/or they update Siri to be more "India friendly". I intend to hit the Apple Store tomorrow and quiz 'em a bit more, see if there's some sort of a patch or update for this issue.
I can't get myself to get used to Android. I've been spoiled by iOS. Definitely won't be an S2 or S3 for me, unless there's a budget constraint.
Tried Shahrukh Khan with Google Voice / Google Now just now on JellyBean and it registered it just fine

I sincerely doubt the Apple Store folks in India are gonna know anything about any patch that 'fixes' it for Indian names/accents. Even IF such a thing existed

Haha, yeah right. And as far as HW goes, I'm guessing you're doing protein-folding and finding a cure for cancer with all those extra cores of yours
CM10 is only out as a preview build, and not all features work. Heck, even CM9 wasn't fully baked when JB came out I remember when the leaked JB rom itself came out, the Nexus ran it perfectly while a ton of crap on other phones wouldn't work - wifi, camera, google now... what not. so it's not quite the bed of roses you paint it to be. In any case, like milol says I don't see the need to jump through hoops.
The only real disadvantage to having a Nexus phone is the lack of a memory card slot. For me, that's not an issue since everything's backed up anyway and I usually roll with 5-6gb of free space for the most part.
+1 to this. Why should I have to install a custom ROM and worry about when an update is coming out for it, or have to wait for a ROM dev to merge in some new update to the ROM, when I can so easily stay on stock JB and get the latest updates first for life without any custom ROM installs. And JB is certainly worth it, if you're saying otherwise you're kidding yourself. Having it weeks before any other device was worth it and no, the latest ROMs don't always have the latest OTA updates in them.
