    Imagine Peter taking the wanted poster, pinning it to his board and saying, "I'll take care of you later" (of course implying that The Lizard needs immediate attention and that Ben's killer can wait)

     

    IIRC He has it pinned to the board in his room until the end.

     

    i just wanna go into hibernation mode till the d-day :|

     

    For once, I'm gonna avoid all these spoiler links as much as I can. Really wanna watch the movie first for a change without spoiling it for myself

    I thought you guys in Delhi had an IMAX theater, didn't know you hadn't. Anyway, here the suburb of Boston I live and work at has no IMAX theater, though there's 2 non-IMAX theaters here that are pretty good with 3D (RealD 3D blah blah) shows.

     

    So, for Dark Knight Rises I found an IMAX theater inside Boston (takes 2 hours to get to by public transport from where I am) and booked tickets there. My folks asked me "Why do you need to go through all this trouble for just a movie? Go watch it at the theater nearby." I had no answer at all to the "just a movie" part..... none <_<

     

    BTW anyone in Chennai know of plans for an IMAX screen coming soon? I had an email show up from Satyam Cinemas to that effect but with no firm deadlines or anything.

    Watched Spiderman in 3D today. It was alright, nothing amazing, but worth a trip to the theater to watch it. 3D didn't make all that much of a difference, only some scenes were in 3D, I could watch a good number without those darned glasses.

     

    It was more like action tacked onto a drama flick, it could have used a lot more of the former. They didn't really need to remake the origin story.

     

    Also, I was the only one sitting there for the post-credits scene.

    For the record, I'm not on ATI, I'm using an Nvidia 9650M GT. That with a T9400 processor and 4GB of DDR2 800Mhz plus a 1440x900 native res LCD is faaaaaaaaaaaaaar inferior to what most IVGians are using, so I'm sure that if it runs at 720p on mine and runs well it should run half decently on all yours.

    ohh...but it's cool man I am sure you'll make up the petty extra amount in your internship :D

     

     

    Oh it's not the extra amount, I'm just saying I don't always find what I need. Even Flipkart doesn't accept such cards, whereas some other sites do. Kinda pisses me off and cuts down the range of options I have for shopping.

    Ah ok, back when I first started looking for a cover for my Nexus S it was the reverse. Sad thing is neither of them allow me to pay using international credit/debit cards, so I end up having to use eBay for everything these days to gift people back home such cases :(

    Fommy is dependable, I used to buy from them earlier, but then for some reason started getting Amzer's stuff directly from Amzer India's site (Amzer.co.in). That hybrid case (Silicone skin + Polycarbonate shell) is the same thing I bought for my Galaxy Nexus and for my girlfriend's iPhone 4S.

    I'm not really worried about the screen. I also have a screen guard on it. I'm just afraid of the back because of the material it's made of. Will this protect the back? Is it worth the price? :fear1:

     

    Yes, it will prevent it getting scratched up.

     

    Guess I will have to go the mehh way and get a screenguard I am too scared off getting another one on such a beautiful screen.

     

    ideas guys...

     

    Get a generic screen protector Athek - the kind of stuff that comes in a pack of 5 for a small price or something - don't go for all those expensive wet-application ones and what not. I've used the plainest of plain screen protectors on both my Nexus S and my Galaxy Nexus. They're always easy to apply and when they get a bit too scratched up (doesn't usually happen) you can throw them away and install a new one. The screen underneath is perfectly protected.

     

    Yeah Amzer's screen protectors are fine too. Or you can walk up to a mobile phone store and ask them to install a regular one, but it's all the same.

     

     

    Which case would you prefer for SII? If there is a better one please tell me. Not looking for very expensive ones though. :D

    The Silicone one will have a more rubbery feel to it, the TPU ones from Amzer usually have a more plastic/matte feel to them and are a bit stiffer.

    Is this case good for SII?

    Amzer Case

     

    I've used Amzer's case for the Nexus S before. That one was decent, but nothing special. It would protect against dents and such, but it's not gonna protect your glass from breaking if you drop it from high. I think it's enough protection but YMMV.

     

    However, the more recent cases from Amzer have a thin silicone inner case with a thick polycarbonate shell on it. This is the exact case I'm using on my Galaxy Nexus, it comes with a little kickstand too.

    Its not much. Plus its definitely a one-time watch + good 3d + it doesn't get boring. Go for it, i say.

     

     

    Yeah I guess I'll do it on July 3rd then. The movie's only releasing here on July 2nd.

     

    trailer? the whole movie is out on not-sure-youtube-like video sharing sites :rofl:

     

    Yeah they also had a very neatly put together 25 min version that used all the clips that had been released till now :lol: Kinda covered most of the important points in the movie.
