  1. Why 15? I'm getting it on the 20th..

Isn't 29th the release date for PC?

Btw is this heavy on requirements on the PC platform? Will it work on an old midrange (now I guess the 9650M GT is entry level :P or worse) card equipped laptop with a Core 2 Duo processor?

  2. the worst of all the attitude of the CSK guys

Look who's talking about attitude. Pot - kettle - enough said. Evidence below:

I dont know why I hate CSK so much.. :furious:

KKR 72 in 8 ovs.. gambhir gone bonkers... KKR please dont let CSK win tonight..

    :loser:

  3. 22 boyfriends in the age of 18?

    Is it even believable?

She has a very high strike rate... damn she'd do well in the IPL

But I don't get it, when she said she had that many boyfriends why would you even fall in love with someone like her if you were looking for something permanent. And 20 days? Seriously man, 20 days is nothing in 'relationship-time'. Forget her and move on. You should always be ready for that possibility, heck I've known friends who have had to move on after 5-10 years in a relationship.

Take care of your own career first, get where you want to get... if anything, a woman in your life should inspire you and egg you onward, not hold you back from something that is good for you.

  4. First relationship... not more than 20 days... gonna end in 20 more... she doesn't hang out with you for movies, dinner stuff etc.

Damn, you are one lucky guy. So basically you are having sex for free :coolspeak:

He never said he got any :P

Also, what's with IVG today, forum seems kinda broken.

  5. I like how you're generalising a huge population.

There are 2 kinds implied in my statements. The third obviously includes ones that don't fall into either of these 2, ones that will stick with you without expecting you to change totally, but they are few.

  6. Well, Thats not always the case.. There are some good girls from a good family. It all depends on how the children raise/society and all....

Btw, for a middleclass person:- Just wanna share :

" Ladki saath ho to Restaurant Bill

Ladki door ho to mobile Bill

    Or

Ladki door ho jaaye to Daru ka Bill

    Isliye Na Lagao Dil

    Na Aayega Bill. "

    Cheers :P

I can attest to those girls from a good family raised well in a traditional way (and low maintenance btw) also being fickle minded. In the sense that they won't go off with some other guy out of their own interest, but they'll love u plenty and then go as per their parent's wishes when they see that you won't sway to all their parents' whims and fancies.

  7. And never ever avoid your parents for any girl like her

They are the ones who are gonna be with you not her

+1 to this. Girls are fickle minded, they will change all of a sudden when it suits them. The two people who will always love you no matter what happens are your parents. Even if the girl leaves you, they'll still be there for you.

  8.

First time he got transformed against his will... As it has been the story of Hulk's life... that is why he was reckless and out of control as always..

But, Bruce Banner now had somewhat mastered this technique of controlling this transformation (India and Yoga helped him)... If he transforms himself by his own will, then he is in total control of his mind and actions...

Except for when he punches Thor aside

  9. gaurav.. i think 3200 has come out.. check that as well!

D3100 is grt for starting out...i.was offered 3% discount at the nikon store....however the dslr prices are at an all time high due to supply issues. D5100 has extra mp, extra modes, full hd movie rec and detachable screen. My suggestion go for 3100 and graduate to d90 when going semi pro. Also for how much are you getting the 3100 and 18 55 bundle. To save money, you could also opt for tamaron lens.

Well is there really any point going above 10mp if the sensor is good? I won't be printing out huge posters or anything really. My priority is to get really awesome, clear pictures instead of the ones I take on a regular Point and shoot or a phone camera. Is the difference between the 3100 and 3200/5100 significant enough that one would pay a lot more (around $150 price difference) for the purpose I've described?

The deal with this 3100 thing is that I can get it on points accrued off the usage of a credit card. So I'd be using those points earned over time to get a 3100 but if I want a 3200/5100 or some other then I'd have to spend and get it myself since those aren't available via the points scheme for this particular bank/card.

  10. Guys, advice please.

Thinking about getting my first DSLR.

Went through a whole bunch of reviews and it looks like Nikon's D3100 might be a good option. Will it make a huge difference if I fork out the extra cash and get a 5100 instead? How good is the D3100 (especially if I'm getting it at a very good price and if it comes with the kit lens)?

  12. That isn't true. The issues you've mentioned are related to all AMOLED displays not just the Super AMOLED HD ones. Also, you don't have to believe me -- check out Supercurio's thread on XDA (Note General). He has been working on this for a while. Even the S2 had these problems -- just like the Note and Nexus do.

Plus, I don't really get the talk about Pentile Displays. I have never noticed any pixels on my phone. Or maybe I wasn't looking too hard -- which shouldn't be the case since I've tested the S2 and Note side-by-side. Edit - Just to clarify, I'm not saying there aren't pixels, just that I've honestly never noticed any.

Ditto on this. Neither my Nexus S nor the Galaxy Nexus have had any noticeable defects with the screen. And I like their screens much much more than any non-AMOLED screen I've seen on any other phone.
