    You also have to remember that while Andy is a front-man. None of the goals have come from playing that system either. His presence, for me, is more of a front-enforcement player than anything else. Of course we want him to score goals but shutting down a striker doesn't necessarily render the rest of the team moot. I'd give him another three weeks to solidify some sort of partnership and see where it goes from there. Right now my biggest gripe is that the distribution is going wide when you have players who are good on the ball and can play in closed spaces. Suarez and Raul are smart runners that can break defenders and force turn-arounds from offside traps and both of them have proven it many times, yet you don't see charlie, lucas, stewart or anyone else cashing in on this. Steven is good at making slots bigger when they are inches wide and I certainly hope he brings that back into the attacking game because I can't see any defender in the league shutting down a smart run with a wide-receiver unless they play sweep cover, which forces the line to play deeper and hence no offside trapping.

    Also defense needs work I mean pressing style ,Lucas is good in that sense but Adam cant tackle.Stevie g returns this month na?

    I don't think that's Kenny's plan honestly. When you look at the purchases done, none of them seem to be out and out strikers. I think that goes back to the Academy and its training structure as well which is where Kenny seems to be deriving the master plan from. In the days when we were a winning side at top-flight in Europe it wasn't muscle more than having all 10 active players on the pitch moving the ball and creating opportunities around the box irrespective of positions held by those players in the setup. That is what he is going for now and this lines up with the midfield purchases as well over the summer. If we were to get a striker, I'd say get a young'un from the academy and give him a run with the first team on days when we can afford it to bring up the home-grown talent. Also, they were looking at Affelay as an acquisition but that is probably not going to happen now.

    Nice points there though my big worry is we have just 1 out and out striker in Caroll and honestly im not a big fan of him,Suarez and Kuyt can play there if necessary but they both thrive in playing just behind the striker or in Kuyts case out wide,thats why im hoping they sign a young out and out striker.

    I was talking about the Cena part.

     

    The Rock may win but the chances of that happening are slim imo.

    Cena has to win this unless Rock is returning full time and by full time I mean like HBKs return when he didnt go for house shows or like Taker who would be there only for PPVs and the odd smackdown.

    If Rock is not returning full time then WWE shouldnt let him beat Cena

    read my prev. replies, i have always liked CM Punk, since his entry in the WWE, and his pepsi plunge is the best fookin move(youtube it) in the entire fookin wrestling

    OFcourse Cena will beat The Rock. Isnt it obvious. Its a passing the torch match. Like Hogan v Rock was. In no means am I comparing their abilities, but its just a typical match in the wrestling industry that is done to push the wrestler for the next decade over the wrestler who was the man for the previous generation.

    But why the love for CM punk all of a sudden....I thought ppl hated him a while back....I remember all the hair-cutting incident and all that bullshit...

    I reckon its due to his recent promos which are more Attitude Era than the PG era

    No comparison between Rock and Cena

    Rock is 100 times better as a wrestler and on mic skills

    I know Rock worked hard but since the last 6 years Cena and Orton have held the WWE together.Rock admittedly did very well but he moved on.How much more does he have to offer now?Should he win does it mean he will wrestle again?No

    Cena is the future and if WWE make him lose at Mania I reckon its a huge mistake.

    Taker I reckon will go a perfect 21-0 beating SuperCena in his last match

    Ya it started when he beat HHH at WM 22,then he beat yet another fan favorite in HBK next year,so the heat has just increased.

    They shove him into viewers face because he is the face of the company and no matter what WWE says their focus is on the younger fans and he is the perfect Superhero for them.

    Cena will definitely beat The Rock.I actually think its the right thing as well.No matter how great the Rock is he is an Actor now and hardly comes live whereas Cena works day in day out for the WWE.

    Dont worry Taker wont ever lose at Mania and even if he does only Kane will be given that right no1 else.I reckon he will remain unbeaten .The mania streak is something which even SuperCena cant overcome

    Cena is popular only with the kids.I feel bad for him cause its not his fault that the creative book him in such a way that every match he overcomes extraordinary circumstances to win.Many of the older fans hate this Super Cena approach and hence they boo him.

    Naah I dont think WWE would have anyone end the streak not even Cena .

    Ya Mick Foley is an excellent choice i hope it happens ,I hardly see any other worthy competitors.Maybe Punk if he isnt feuding with HHH or even Y2J .I dont wanna see Kane and HHH again,but I wouldnt mind HBK ;)
