    12 seasons?.... I thought 16... Anyway Chelsea have qualified for the last 9 seasons as well with 4 SF and 2 final..

     

    Giroud has been playing much better for the past 2 months!!

     

    I was a CHelsea fan before Abram... And please don't talk about plastic fans and non plastic fans!! Chelsea had plastic fans in the first 4-5 yrs of Abramovic era.. Not now... anyway it is the Plastic fans who eventually become loyal fans!! But to not even be able to have plastic fans is a pity!!

    Btw Chelsa IMO have had much tougher times in the last 3 seasons than Arsenal... We were in limbo half the 2010-11 season and sucked like sh*t from nov to feb last season and are just as bad now... But coming back strongly even after struggling entire season IMO makes more loyal fans than Plastic...

     

    Being a Livpool fan you talk about chelsea's spending? You guys have spent nearly 250 million (buying - selling) in the last 5 years yourself! FFP is not for only for Chelsea but also for other clubs who pay players more than what they are worth!

     

     

    Again you are saying the same thing about RVP... Arsnal are financially much better than TH to sell a player to ur arch rival for making a hefty profit...!!

    Van Persie was going to united anyways .Just a question of next season for free or this season for 24.Wenger tried for both Juve and City but the boy inside him wanted United

     

    Since 2009 Chelsea have spent 300 Million Pounds on players and have sold 54 million pounds worth of players

    So Net Spend - 246 Million Pounds

     

    Since 2009 Liverpool have spent 213 Million Pounds on players and have sold 160 Million Pound worth of players

    So Net Spend - 53 million Pounds

     

    53 and 246 is not the same

    Good points... But...

     

    1. Chelsea may lose a lot of money... But they earned enough last yr to not affect a yr without CL.. 5-6 new sponsors and around 45mill in CL money.. Still more than what arsenal would earn in 2 CL QF exits

     

    2. About walcot.. CLearly playing him in CF means they are giving in to his demands..

     

    3. What you say means Arsenal are a SeLLING CLUB? are arsenal so poor to sell of persie for 8-10 million more to manU than other interested clubs?

     

    I would on any day be happy to see Mata go to Barca for 5M than to a rival PL club for 40M..

    This sale clearly shows they dont consider manU as rivals... So obviously its a letdown... you should have seen arsenal fans like Piers morgan react to RVP's transfer in twitter...

    see levy.. he dint sell modric to Chelsea though we offered 40million and sold to RM for 33 million after a yr... What he did was rite.. You dont sell ur best players to ur rivals when you know it greatly strengthens them..! (though as a Chelsea fan i was pissed.. :bigyellowgrin:/> )

     

    4. About respect among fans.. noone likes a big spending club.. Free.. But eventually people will love them if they win trophies.. Chelsea have more fans than arsenal now.. Its a fact!..

     

    5. Yes we spend a lot of money... But we made a profit last yr.. Arsenal maks profit every year.. THen why don they spend? 7mill for Ba is not a big expenditure.. They could have easily got him in summer or even a week ago..

    1-You are comparing 1 season of victory to 12 seasons of qualification out of the group stage

    The Modric saga is where even Spurs fans will say levy goofed up .They lost close to 10 million on him when they could have sold him for 45 .As a brlliant businessman it was 1 of his few failings

     

    4-1 loyal fan >100 Glory hunter fans

    I respect Chelsea fans who were with Chelsea before Abrahimovich .Its always easy to support a successful club .The measure of a true fan is not when the team is winning but when a team is in adversity .

     

    5-The reason we (Liverpool ) or Arsenal or united did not buy Rumor ( Baa is because of insurance issues.Baa cannot be insured because of his knees.That is the reason that no one bought him despite his low price .)ALso anyone who knows Chelsea knows Baa is there just till Falcao arrives

     

    6-Its because of clubs like Chelsea that UEFA have had to use FFP

    @hope... Chelsea did not destroy Torres' career man... Liveprool destroyed and sold him to Chelsea...

     

    Did you know that he was made to play in liverpool with a lingering injury because a lot of l'pool players were underperforming?

     

    His knee went beyond repair during his last season in L'pool.. A reason why he underperformed in WC and had a bad 2011 in l'pool...

     

    Liverpool just pushed him away to Chelsea.. And Chelsea still respected him and dint bring a 2nd striker after Drogba left to give him a lot of time to get back to fitness..

     

    Everyone in liverpool medical team expected Torres to fail the medical at chelsea if he was subject to an intensive one.. But he did not have a complete medical because of the hurried nature in which he was transferred to Chelsea..

    Did you know we let him have surgery so that he could play in the WC ?

    He was class with Liverpool even in his last 4 months .He scored 9 league goals in 18 appearances and that was when we were struggling in 9th place.Compare that to Chelsea he has scored 14 league goals in 60 appearances.

    We made him ,we did not destroy him.he destroyed himself by choosing the wrong club and leaving the club where he was idolized

    I still think Arsenal have a better chance of ending up in top 4 than us and that's because of Wenger's experience.

     

    Arsenal will finish in Top 4.We can put that to bed .Spurs will be extremely close but Wenger will get the job done yet again

    Also I believe Chelsea have finished above you in every season since 2005 except last yr!

     

    Chelsea may not play the best football around.. But atleast they win trophies and give the fans something to cheer about @ the end of the season rather than scrapping a 3rd/4th position and sit at home watching other teams playing in the finals!!

     

    And by no means are arsenal a poor club.. They hav a turnover of over 250 million... Then why don't you spend?

     

    That's why I told that if they don't qualify for CL for a couple of seasons... then they might start spending..!!

     

    Also stop comparing pre PL era to PL era... Its completely different.. Clubs earn more and so can spend more!

     

    1-The point is the money you get for qualifying and reaching the champions league quarters.When the season ends you will know Chelsea will have lost 20-30 million because they went out in group stages

     

    2-Arsenal have still not given into Walcott

     

    3-24million or lose him for free to your rival next season .I would choose 24 million

     

    4-Still more respected than Chelsea by all neutral fans

     

    5-Money money money

     

    6-I like Chelsea, effective rather than attractive

     

    7-A club should spend only what they earn .

    think we were really good in the FH, played some good football, you can't score three with being average.

    We were def good but we have been at the same level all season.

    I hope Sturridge deal goes through before the Sunderland game.

    Also Enrique out for a while :(

    Chelsea needs him, now more than ever

     

    IMO Lampard,Gerrard and Scholes are 3 players who no one can hate

    Chelsea made the same mistake when they let Ballack go .They need someone who stays there till the very end .Terry and lampard deserve to end their career there

    Watch the back to back 100's he scored against aus in sharjah..

    143 n 134..One of the best matches ever..

     

    The Sharjah Hundreds were extremely special .The sandstorm in the background just added to the spectacle .The test Hundred against Pakistan in Chennai is my favorite .I still remember crying after the match

     

    The shoaib akhthar dismissal was complete disgrace to cricket..

    The pakistani had to call him back..they claimed the wicket without any shame.. :thumbdown:/>/>/>/>

     

    Probably the worst dismissal ever and most unfair also..
