    usually the details u see in uninstall screen are not actual usage details, these details are picked from registry, may be in ur case registry may be corrupted....look at the services...and stop the modem service....

     

    also change the ram and check..it should solve the problem...

    Hi Everybody,

     

    I am having an issue with my PC here. It runs for a few minutes after boot-up and then just freezes..

     

    If i press the reset button, the motherboard does not post immediately. The power goes off, then comes back. This happens for a few times before the system boots. After it boots, the thing hangs after a few minutes.I have tried

     

    1)Reformatting the sys.

     

    2)I even took the mobo to the dealer and there it was working fine. The processor does not go above 45 degrees and the motherboard 37. So i dont think its overheating. What may be the problem?

    Please help me out guys as i am stumped with this issue...

     

    usually this happens due to bad ram....try changing the RAM
