Try this, http://www.nch.com.au/burn/index.html Just a 366 KB file and it burns HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray.

Ok guys need some help to buy a new PC want somthing compact which would just fit under my 32 inch LCD so my LCD can be kept on top of it..
IMO, this is actually a bad option. Keeping in mind how much a 32" TV weighs, it will definitely exert a lot of pressure causing cramped space inside the chassis and possibly even damage some add on cards (unless ur going for a heavy Aluminum case). This would've been easy if it was a " 19" or 22" Monitor" but a 32" LCD TV is way heavier.
On the other hand, you can try this.

You can try getting it without a monitor if possible, that might put this in ur budget.

The 'Female Accomplice' Scenario
hope this doesnt turn out to be true.
Might be true....me thinks it might be
Athena whom he accidentally kills
in GOW2. If you remember,
he kinda had a soft corner for her. Maybe brings her back to life???

SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED THE FIRST TWO INSTALLMENTS
well if
Zeus can be his father
then this is the next thing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if
Zeus is his father then already most of the gods are his siblings...

Dude, Ive connected my 360 to my monitor through a VGA cable
For HD
-
This should get you started. Never realized this was possible, but good to know...

newb question: If I buy a capture card to record vids while playing the 360 on my monitor...will it work?
What kinda capture card are you referring to? Also, for you to record what your playing on the X360, there should be some physical connection between the PC and the 360 as well.. So, not sure what card you're talking about...

guy can some one tell me if i can run Windows Vista without any issues on a PC which has a P4 3.2 Ghz & 1 GB Ram & a Geforce Fx5200 card...?
Vista should run, but inevitably you would be forced to face a lot of crashes and freezes. The reason being, i presume your P4 3.2 Ghz proc is not a dual core one, then this makes things really tough for your system to handle vista. And if the proc is indeed a single core, then your memory should be either a DDR 400 or a DDR2 533 Mhz at the most, and 1 GB of this is not sufficient as well. Not sure if vista would run fine on an AGP card and that too one that is as old (but solid) as the Fx 5200. But just for kicks, you can give it a try. But surely it's gonna be frustrating.

It worked!!!
Logging in using Safe Mode worked!!
Thank you all guys! Thanks a lot!!
Hey...that's gr8
glad to have been of help -
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
Booting or re-installing from the disc cannot be done as my disc drive is dead. So the only option I have is to somehow gain access to my existing account. Or else I will have to wait until I get the replacement drive or buy that new DVD Reader.
didn't notice the DVD drive part....this leaves you only with safe mode...have you tried entering safe mode yet? If you're able to then it's very easy to fix it through system restore...
-
You can try this. There are two ways of doing this. First you can tap F8 and select "Repair My Computer." If this works then go to step 3 below. If not then try the steps mentioned below
1. Boot through the OS disc
2. When you get to the "Install Now" screen, select "Repair My Computer" below.
3. When it asks for the username and password, try all the usernames you have set on this system. If this works, then you can choose system restore amongst other options and restore it to a date before you disabled the accounts.
This is what you are looking for

Intel C2D E8400 - 7500
ABit IP35-E - 5200
Corsair HX620 - 6000 (you could also opt for 450w for around 3k)
CM 690 - 3700
Logitech Keyboard - 500-1000
MX 518 Mouse - 1200
Total : 24,300
Rest you can spend on a good 22" LCD. Get a good headphones aswell. If you already have an LCD get yourself logitech g15 keyboard for 4400 and Ip35 pro instead of E depending on what you intent to do on the machine besides gaming.
Possibilities are endless.

Haven't you forgotten something really important for a gaming PC? Gfx Card?

Anyways, add one of the 8800 GTs floating in our trading post and your good to go or even an HD 4870...

why not Gerard Butler?? I think he has the similar face cut as Kratos...

There's an HDMI port standard, along with options for WiFi, a wireless keyboard and mouse, Blu-ray and a TV tuner.
Those are options and will add to the cost....and dont get your hopes too high wont make it to india soon i think.
DAMN!!! I configured a system to my liking which comes up to 68k in UK .... and the same in US is about 51k...

This includes Blu-Ray;TV tuner;Wireless Kybd & Mse; integrated Wi-Fi.
Dunno if it's worth at such a price...But I don't think we can build such an HTPC on our own as well.. HELP!!!!!!
-
Whats the retail in India ?
Not sure abt the retail price in India yet, my guess would be around 21-26k (without monitor & without EPP discount), but i'm just hoping they release in India as Dell does not release all of their consumer line of products here. else, would have to get it through one of the colleagues from other sites out of india..
-
AWESOME.. Go for it.
Yup...been following this for some time...dunno how much it might cost in India... and if any of you guys need this, I can squeeze in about 3 others in my employee discount quota..
.. -
Hey guys,
Planning to get this for HTPC purposes....what do u think? Biggest selling point would be the HDMI ports, Blu-Ray, and the size...

If you really want a system that can perform very well on games and squeeze every ounce of power it can offer, then I would suggest you look at a motherboard with good overclocking options; the best case available (Antec P180 maybe) and the best heatsink/cooler with an extra 120 mm fan; one ATI 4870 X2; DDR3 OCZ memory...
