wow ... had a blast yesterday...

 

now i kno why i kept suckin' till yesterday.... team work is ultra necessary... and every unit is balanced to the core...u need to have a reckon keepin' watch on u.. and a medic at ur back .... an engineer keeping vehicles at check( just hope the RPG can b more lethal... and bring down the tank when fired from a lil distance in one shot )... and an assault blowing fkin brains off...

 

and not to mention destruction 2.0 .....

 

just hope they'll fix the stats bug soon.... just cant get across lvl 5... it'd bring me back....

 

otherwise.... this is one hellauv a game...

the lowest model they have is plantronics audio 350 and it costs 2k!

what they have for 1 k are moserber headphones and something called smart(had hell of a lot of features)

I was doubtful so didn't purchase anything

what do u suggest?

 

try Altec Lansing.... they make gr8 headphones...

guys... my laptop is kinda screwd

 

everytime I update my Win Vista and restart it stops working. It works fine if I format and reinstall Vista but same problem again if I update.

 

what do i do ? It just shows the dell screen, shows some blank screen and then goes back to the beginning of bootup and shows the dell screen again.

 

check if u messed up with boot devices... select the HDD partition correctly in which u installed the OS.. and if under warranty contact Dell right away... they may give u another copy of the OS... at least thts what HCL did when I screwed up my copy of xp MCE... so good luck

Actually u will get UD3 @13.5-14k depending upon dealer.... 14.5 is online price

 

The only X58 I recommend is Gigabyte UD5 which retails for 15-16k

 

and regarding physx.... alas yes its Nvidia exclusive.... but i dont care.. 'coz i dont use it

 

on the whole your machine is really powerful as it is.... if u can go for it

 

and I must warn u HAF 922 is a dust magnet.. and it doest come with dust filters... but is the best case for cooling in mid-atx segment..

guys i bought the vga switch and cable.....but when i connect it there is a faint blue transparent layer over the screen.basically the white looks blue.and the image is also not clear.so what could be the problem?

 

edit: i tried once more,now the color prob not there,but the image is extremely distorted and out of focus....

can u be more specific... ie ur connecting what to what...??

 

assuming u are connecting a pc to a monitor...

 

1- Monitor may be deffective...

2- Ur video card is defective...

 

If ur pc is latest then it shud have two or three video output slots ( Dvi / vga) so try switching among them...

try ur 360/ps3/DTH on the monitor to verify if its functioning properly....

 

lastly... check if have conneted the cables to the dongle correctly...

Can you help me improve or help decrease the cost, in case there's a cheaper/better option available ? How is phenom II compared to i7 ? I read that they give similar performance when it comes to gaming, and its a tad cheaper than i7

 

dude... first off u got it wrong as it is...

u cannot use ddr2 ram in a ddr3 mobo.....

 

change ram to 4gb ddr3 .. it will be 1600 *2 =3200 approx

 

rest all is good... ( donno abt tht lcd)

 

u can go for a CM690 cabinet @ 4k

and u can also get the same HDD for 2.6k

 

gfx card is good enough... though id recommend a 4890 esp since its avail for 13-14k rite now..

 

and for ur purposes Phenom II X3 720 BE is enough ... but the fact is that no Phenom II can match an i7

 

EDIT:: the RAM I mentioned above is Trancend 1333Mhz DDr3 with lifetime warranty... 2 x 2gb

where can i find the wireless gaming receiver for xbox 360 controller, will normal 360 wireless controller work with it...........

 

ya.. normal 360 controller works if u have the receiver ... but I dunno if they are avail in market...

 

I saw wireless X360 controller+wireless receiver for windows @ Reliance digital for 3k and @local mall in HYD for 2.8k

At full load your power supply should be drawing about 720 watts while your UPS is capable of about 700watts... looks like microtek guys are shafting you..

Does your PC get turned off or you are not getting adequate backup?

If former, then issue could be one out of these:

1. You have an active PFC based power supply which don't work properly with today's load sensing UPS

2. Your UPS's switch over time is more than it should be. (I had the same issue, they first denied it but after 2 months of repeated calls and haggling, replaced the circuit board and now it works fine)

as far as microtek guys are concerned ..... tht guy checked the ups by swithcing the plug off a dozen times .... which made my PC rlly weird ...

^^ as far as CPU is concerned go for intel one.... it has 3mb cache compared to 1mb of amd one + 2.4Ghz aint bad + u get 500gb vs 320gb HDD.... didnt check the ram ...though

I bought Microtek twin battery 1kva .... it isnt enough... I had the microtek guys chek mu UPS .. they say there is no fault .. it's capacity isnt enough they say... I need back up time enough to save quit a game and shut the pc down...

I want to install Win 7 on my PC, it's currently on Pista.

i hv the ISO of 7. how do i install it thru my portable HDD?

 

Keep the Pista its good for health.... besides with win 7 full version around the corner and many apps not compatible with win 7 I dont reccomend it...

 

u have ISO ..... which is image of the win 7 disk so u need stuff like daemon tools or burn it on a disk to use it

CD is working properly on the laptop but now on the boot order only the floppy drive is listed.

 

 

simple..... go to BIOS and set the boot device to ur Disk

Drive.. install the OS and then change the boot device to OS ...

 

and

 

dont forget to backup ur files on an external HDD or another partition =)
