    Brazil pricing revealed holyshit

    https://www.resetera.com/threads/official-ps5-prices-in-brazil-up-to-r-5000.288134/

I'll put the price in dollars with today's (09/16/2020) value just for everyone to see how f**ked up Brazil is)

    PS5 Digital Edition – R$4.499,00 (~U$860,00)
    PS5 – R$4.999,00 (~U$955,00)

    DualSense™ – R$499 (~U$95,00)
    PULSE 3D™ – R$599 (~U$115,00)
    HD Camera – R$449 (~U$85,00)
    Media Controller – R$ 199 (~U$38,00)

Brazil has lot of weird taxes, so the price is expected to be on the higher side.

Early adopters are a different breed. They don’t buy based on logic. Ask me. I’m one of them.

Haha yeah. It's a completely different feeling to open a new console on launch day.

BTW there are still many things Sony needs to show like the UI, backward compatibility gains and Cerny promised one more hardware deep dive. The PS Plus collection looks good for someone who didn't have PS4 this generation.

So I think there's two ways to look at this.

Miles is an expansion to Spiderman anyway so it may have used the same engine/assets etc. So easy to release for PS4 and scale up to PS5. Still, not the same as a native PS5 release.

Horizon might have already begun development for PS4 that's why it's ready already, and GG probably just spruced it up for PS5. Again, won't benefit the way a native PS5 game would unless the devkits allow them to build both side by side without compromise.

I don't think Sony will do cross-gen for games from ND, SSM and other top tier studios. It's not that they technically can't, but they'll use these games to push PS5 hardware sales.

Yes, I think the Miles Morales expansion was already in the works. Since GG would have started on Horizon sequel way back in 2017, they would be targeting the PS4 to begin with.

I really don't see India getting a lot of PS5 consoles this year. And there is absolutely no reason to buy the PS5 on launch unless your PS4 is dying.
