    Man I remember trying to get books pre flipkart. Had to wait like a year before I could import World War Z and Zombie survival guide from the UK. And I remember feeling positively giddy with joy the time I found the Game of thrones series in the local bookstore. I had read so much about it on the net and was looking for it forever and then BAM! there it was. Ditto for the original Halo trilogy. Not to mention finding books that were never seen in a bookstore on the street vendors in Saket and Vasant vihar for like 150 bucks. It almost felt like stealing. It was like finding gold. :lol:

     

    Now you can just order anything you want and have it in a couple of weeks tops. Its nice but it misses the excitement of coming across what you have wanted for a long while without any warning.

    There's a different joy to it though - trawling the dusty bylanes of New market or College Street trying to find books, and stumbling upon some jem. I still remember that I searched for over a year to get my hands on Lord of the Rings after I read The Hobbit in school. Or trying to find the Hardy Boys which never got printed in India.

     

    anyways, about halfway through feast of crows - what a letdown after book 3. It's as if GRRM genuinely wants the readers to be bored. Who are all these people? Why should I give a f**k about them?

    I'm immensely enjoying this show called - 'The Good Wife'. I think many don't watch it here, maybe its the name that might make you think its some kind of soap opera. Its not. Its a legal drama series,well written with some very good performances. And the show solves one case in each episode, while having a back story that flows across seasons. Something like House....I would recommend anyone who's a fan of legal drama to watch the series.

     

    BTW, any other such legal dramas worth watching ?

    Yep bro, but there is a fix available for the same.

    Hmmm, forgot that the screen on an Indian Nexus S is an SLCD and not Super AMOLED.

    Both i9000 and i9003 are available. i9000 has super amoled and i9003 has LCD, among other differences. i9003 has 1650 battery to compensate for the higher power usage of the LCD screen.

    Parry is extremely satisfying. With some decent armour you can always take chances. With those skeletons I usually took the super safe approach of luring them, hit with soul arrow and run like hell. Else I would roll behind enemies and back stab them.

     

    The worst generic enemies are:

    Giants in the swamp

    Invisible assassins in 4-2

    Assassins in the palace

    The enemies are definitely smarter and more annoying than Demon souls.....AI is pretty good.... fukin hell they surround you and each of them always follow a diff pattern ( its harder to hit all of em at once since one of em will be blocking) .... they also seem to chase you till the end , so no more walk in and out of range and shoot high level enemies for easy Xp lol...

     

    And yes classes are pretty much useless just like the last game.... I dont think there are any class specific items too ....Overall Demons souls is definitely easier than this, I wouldn't recommend anyone picking this up before they try that first...Its going for pretty cheap and well worth the money

    Demons Souls was playable because of the predictability of the enemy AI. Let's face it - if the game is that difficult you need to recognize patterns and need the breathing space. But - varying AI, chasing enemies :rant:
