  1. I've been trying to download kotor and riddick for a week now, hardly get anything over 512kbps on a 2mbps line. But today got the full thing for DX1 and 2 - both downloaded nicely in office. But the former two still stuck at excruciatingly slow speeds.

22 minutes to go for the next deal

  2. Ok so i wanna start Terry Pratchett. Which book do i begin from?

I would say go through the series - Colour of Magic, Light Fantastic. The series undergoes a vast change from being fantasy focused to more urban focused one-third of the way through. There are three main storylines:

    1. Rincewind stories - usually more magic oriented starring Rincewind and other wizards of the Unseen Academy. The first two books are solely around Rincewind.

    2. City Watch stories - deals with Sam Vimes, Carrot Ironfoundersson and the other members of Ankh-Morpok City Watch. The first story is Guards! Guards!, followed by Men at Arms. You can start here with GG as well. Then go back to the beginning.

    3. Witch Stories - deals with the three witches of Lancre, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick. Very Shakespeare inspired. Lords and Ladies is brilliant, and is as good a parody of Midsummer Nights Dream, as was done by Neil Gaiman. The later witch stories star Tiffany Aching.

There are other mini-series like the ones starring Death or Moist von Lipwig, and a couple of odd ones here and there.

    *makes a note to RTFM*

The manual doesn't mention tendency i think. There's sooooo much the manual doesn't mention. To me it's still GOTY because it was released this year here. Yes that's right - over ME2 and RDR.
