Problem is it's concentrated in a part of a Vasco area which has a population of around 2000. To have 250+ cases in a span of a few days says a lot. And now some of that is spilling outside as well. Some health workers who were handling the location also tested positive as well. There were only 200 beds available and now they've added 220 more apparently. Also they'd stopped testing because of backlog. 2000 tests and they got backlogged.

Who the heck knows anything anymore? All I know is things have gone to literal sh*t around my location. Everyday some 20-30 cases in one place, plus CM saying it's difficult to do more tests because of backlog hence no tests were done for 2 days, and yesterday in the hotspot they had to be forced to do more testing (all of glorious 18 tests lol). The Municipal corp was shut down as one worker was found positive. Remote villages have sprung cases as well and have gone into voluntary lockdown, while my town which is the epicenter here is still up and running. Unofficial move to herd immunity is on everyone's lips here.

Summer vacays here were due to start in mid April, but my daughter's school closed early about a week before the lockdown. Continued classes online. Now school is reopening tomorrow but online only. Thank god. If it was classroom then we'd already decided on her skipping the year. There's no way on earth I'd risk it. Of course a major factor is her school is bang in the middle of the hotspot here where there were about a 110 cases detected in a span of 2 days from approx 1200 tests. Anyway according to the circular govt has pushed opening to July. Either way I spoke with the principal and she said they are trying to see if they can work out classroom with 50% capacity on alternate days keeping in mind students and teachers safety. Also helps that its only 26 students per class. But l see the fear in my daughter's eyes. She's heard things from the neighbours kids. Had to show her a screenshot to show we only have some 200+ cases and 0 deaths, and explained the cases in relation to our population. So it's kind of alleviated her fear a bit.

Some of us just because after 2 and half months of lockdown we need something to be excited about j/k real reason for me is I use the Black DS4 with the PC, the Wired Nacon with the PS4 but my kitten thinks the wire is a snake and keeps attacking it so decided on a new DS4 so I don't have to keep getting up to remove her from the wire
