    My post was about improvements made to HTC's phones and you come in and vomit Steve Jobs' semen all over the thread.

     

    my post was about limitations of winmo. if uv got ballmer's balls right up your scortum ud obv not see it that way.

     

    WinMo devices tend to have large capacity batteries, 1200+ Mah at the minimum with high performance phones carrying 1500+ Mah batteries.

     

    As for the UI, the same old WinMo 6.5 skinned with the latest version of TouchFlo 3D, which is magnificent. Check out some of the videos of the new Tflo 3D. Its snazzier than any other mobile phone interface currently available.

     

    they have large capacity batteries yet the battery life is average at best.

    Same here, i enjoy typing on my iPhone. I didn't mean to bash any phone against any, I'm looking for a Blackberry too and hence i wanna see if its worth going from iPhone to 8900.

     

    DS : She hasn't started using it, can u cross check with someone about facebook and Twitter.

     

    8900 is what.. 24k..?? i dunno but paying 20k + for a workhorse seems a bit much. saying that, i quite like th 8900.

    The screen resolution and pixel density for one. The PHYSICAL keyboard is the other reason why people choose BBs over the iPhone. I bet you got that second sentence from BGR :P There's something called BOLT Browser for Blackberries. PC like browsing, and really fast :D

     

    Android can easily replace iPhones. They do support push for Gmail accounts if you have a data plan.

    :thumbsup: If you Tweet quite often, you're gonna love the Blackberry ! Try using UberTwitter on your Bold :)

     

    gmail push is also on iPhones now. i dunno but i do not find typing on the iphone at all irritating.. the auto correct is quite accurate mostly. and now with copy paste implementation, its cool.

     

    It uses the 1GHz snapdragon processor. Going by the benchmarks of Toshiba's snapdragon phone, battery life should be similar to other WinMo devices.

     

    As for improvements, its the first WinMo with a 800x480 capacitive touchscreen (the same type used on the iPhone and Palm Pre. WinMo phones traditionally use resistive touchscreens).

     

    lol. we will u fanbois learn th hardware is moot if th software does not take advantage of it. and winmo.. er.. can't

    go sulk in a corner now.

     

    What about the screen resolution ? There is hardly any difference between to be honest :

     

    iPhone ~ 320x480 , BB 8900 ~ 480x360

     

    Also put the fact that BB needs bb service to be activated and normal EDGE service won't work before the bb service is activated.

     

    the screen res is same for a smaller size screen.. iv seen it and it looks a lot more crisp.

    Prolly going phone hunting today. See if i can find an HTC Hero/3 GS/BB Javelin/Tour on the cheap :P .

     

    3gs wont b cheap. i guess bb 8900 is a decent phone for the price.. fr 21 @ alfa..

    hw bout them headphones :naughty:

    Give her a break, she just delivered a kid :fear:...Either way, the show has veered completely from what the title of the show is and is jus dragging it like a sitcom. If u keep aside that fact, the robin barney thing is not bad IMO, seeing that both are emotionally stunted people who have no clue of what a relationship is. It'd be good if the writers pan it out well

     

    yep.. it was always a sort of pretense to actually make a show. i dont think the mother thing has been central to the story ever.

     

    as long as it has barney and the barneyisms. seriously that guy carries th sho :samui:

    number of engines each driver has left for the remaining 4 races..

     

    Each driver may use a maximum of eight engines this season. Anything beyond that and they get a ten-place grid penalty per additional engine. With just four races remaining, most drivers are getting near the end of their allocation, meaning reliability will play an increasingly important role as the 2009 campaign approaches its finale.

     

    Below is a list of how many new engines each driver has used thus far. If you drive a Renault, or have a Ferrari V8 behind you, then things are looking pretty rosy. If your name is Vettel, however, then you are probably slightly worried. The one unknown, of course, is how many of each driver’s used engines is still useable - and how much life each has left in it…

    choy when you are checking be sure to set the brightness / contrast etc by yourself - the reason is that shops sometime set different tvs at different settings - and the comparison is skewed

    actually try to read up on about ur tv's (th 1s ur interested in) optimum settings on avforums etc.. so u can check it out for yourself. also try to get them to put ur own video so u know the difference on picture uv seen already.

    personal preference peeps... :D

     

    to me the samsung/lg/etc etc all look like crap... the image produced looks artificial

    sony/philips/toshiba/sharp were more or less of the same quality.... imagery wise... sony n sharp the best of the lost.... this was when i got mine 2 years back.... maybe others have upped their game since....

     

    choy best bet is to sample the lcd's urself... take along a dvd n check on both the panels...

     

    lol.. i would never recommend a lcd anyway.. but if u do gotta buy a lcd.. its always samsung..

    sony does not make panels.. they get samsung to make em.

     

    regarding ur artificial pic grub.. that's the case with any lcd..

     

    plasmas rule beeech. :P:(

    spare me god for i have sinned. i took my wife to watch Dil Bole Haddippa.

     

    i tortured her poor soul for 3 hours, subjecting her to misplaced feminism rant, over the top indo-pak friendship spleen in brighter than sun patented YashRajFilms colors.

     

    oh Cricket. Yes god, i abused the game of cricket by seeing a movie in which all main characters are all rounders. Players like Imran Khan and Kapil Dev are rushing to their graves prematurely, so that they could spin in their graves. A movie in which a T20 runs for 8 hours (or at least seems like it); and 4 runs are scored to win on the last ball by great

    running between the wickets. Who needs a good shot when they can run 4

     

     

    Lord i also had the insolence to ignore her pleas to leave the movie after the first 20 minutes. Subjecting her to watching in horror as the cast hammed and hawed from cliched scene to another, made mockery of their talents to satisfy the commandements of a YRF film.

     

    No punishment would be less, so i shall accept your wrath in any form as you deem fit.

     

    so leme get ths str8.. she wanted to leave n u dint..??!! :(
