in all fairness, the climax has to be nerve wracking/ tense and a hyperbole for the match; so most game based movies (not just cricket) have some equivalent of 'boundary needed of last ball'.
its the treatment (as achillef) says of the whole movie, and how that movie has built up to that point which is supposed to tip the iceberg; that make a great sports based movie.
yep.. rocky shines on all levels..

Has there every been a movie that has a cricket game/theme that hasnt been a total cliche? Right down to needing a boundary of the last ball.
even chak de had to save a goal off the last shot.. but that movie ws awefum.. its th treatment.

Seriously, if you get a chance to watch this in 3d do NOT pass it up. Its everything that movies are supposed to be.

for 32" it seems full hd vs hd ready makes no difference, difff only visible above 42"

i like to watch scary movies like that nly.. havnt watched many though.. i remember the only time i ws actually scared was when i saw the ring for the first time, on my laptop, with noise canceling headphones at 4 in the morning in the winter time.. (so not even th fan/ac noises were there) ..

Nope. But the new iPod Nano does.
The Zune HD is really sweet. Measured purely as a portable, pocketable A/V device, its the best one in the market. The software is miles ahead of the iPod Touch and the transitions, effects, etc. are an absolute treat to the eyes.
Plus Zune 4.0 on the PC will blow your mind.

anyhoo, i like tennis, my 2nd fav after football, play a bit in 1st and 2nd yr of college but unfortunately got a muscle tear in my left shoulder (m lefty) an year and half back so stopped racquet sports altogether, doc says to go for physiotherapy for rapid healing but i am a fookin lazy bum to do so
enough of that, anyone saw serena's wrath ?? also federer lost so
i hear ya.. iv fractured.. well more like torn ligaments playing all kinda sports but mostly got injured while playing squash..
and another 1 who likes seeing federer loose..
waitin for th tyme nadal wud make him cry again.. -

Also, I must say that despite the bleak nature of the movie, the small bits of humor actually worked.

i actually found quite a few bits funny.. but i ws th only 1 laughing.. in my group of friends and in th hall..
for th first 15 mins th girls were lik whr th hel hav u gotten us.. dam u... but by th end of th movie they accepted it graciously. n 1 of them actually was inquisitive about d10. 
n tru wt u said about videogame inspiration.. in most of the second haf i felt like i shd b controlling either of th 2..
