Edit Can't believe now The Rock is spewing the childhood dream crap. That is such utter tripe coming from a man after a hiatus, who in all fake modesty aside, is nearly one of the best. And to say Cena stands between his dream? I mean come on. Not enough barf emoticons. Ruined the vibe man. Completely.

That's a load of investor crap. The movie overall would be making money. They'll write it off to Disney TV rights, international licenses, endorsements, star tie-ups etc.
But, most movies end up losing money at the box office.

Yup. It was pretty obvious from the live timing data that Lewis had backed off about 5 laps from the end for a couple of laps and then went faster for a lap and a half before backing off again. It is a proven technique when following in the wake of the car ahead to back off to allow your front tires to settle a little in order to even out the temperatures across the surface of the tires and get them closer to optimum. Taking the live timing data and the news on Lewis' call to the pits 4 laps from the end, it seems like he was attempting a bluff, something, anything, however half-hearted it might have been, in order to get closer in that brief attack spell for a lap and a half.

Also, why do most plasmas have 1024 x 768 resolution? In normal practical use, will it look crappy compared to 720p or 1080p displays?
You shouldn't select it coz of the resolution. There are plenty of 1080p plasmas. At anything above 40" you must go for 1080p.

It's cheap coz the 3D is 'support 3D' and the HD is barely HD. Get some other set.

Saw Fincher's Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Good performances by Craig and Maara and a solid one time watch for the setting and the unravelling of the plot but the 'mystery' was totally lost. I guessed the bad person and tied the motive to Maara's rape as soon as they came on screen. I don't know how and it spoiled the movie for me somewhat.
Oh, and the piercings on her body were/are real. Goddamn.

Nay, I checked in a couple of places in Delhi and NCR. They only have the V, S, U, and X series.
The ST30 is available, but I would like THX and ISF to fine tune the picture, especially given the dearth of professional calibration services in India.
Do you, by any chance, know of a place I can pick it up from?
Else, any other recommendations? Even the Samsung 8 series isn't available here.
Not sure of places to buy TVs from in Delhi, there are a couple of outlets in Lajpat Nagar where you can bargain if you know how to, Satnam in GK-1 is another one but you'll have to bargain the sh*t out over there.
I'd say for Panasonic, I'd go in this order: V, G, S/U, X. Even last year's V models would be better than this year's S/U models. The 'T' after the specific model like ST adds stupid 3D and is quite a bit costlier. I'd never go for that.
Anyone know how the Samsung PS51D550 Plasma is for gaming?
Also, which one is better - the Panasonic ST30, V20, or G20?
Is that one the slim plasma from Samsung, as thin as their LEDs? Out of the three the V20 should be the best.

As soon as Cena stepped out to Thuganomics, I prayed "Please let this be awesome." It was. But then The Rock really came back good. I was laughing pretty much throughout the concert. Except for the "We Will Rock You" part.
Some other things to note, has Jericho had lipo on his chest? Just looks weird. And once again taker was almost snoozing through his time on the mic. For a minute I couldn't even follow his 'destiny' crap. So not only is he boring now, he doesn't even make sense! He has got be on some rad muscle relaxers
Loved how HHH came out, gave that sly smile and just went "suck it". Haha.
I really shudder to think where they'll go after this. They have the stars just hanging by a thread even now. There is absolutely no one on the current roster who can be interesting on the mic.

You know what would have been a better storyline? Shawn couldn't end it. HHH couldn't end it. Let's see if both of them together could end it. HIAC Triple Threat and in the end the streak still comes out on top putting an end to all this streak nonsense, once and for all.
In that storyline the HHH vs Shawn thing of egos could also play out nicely. When Shawn showed HHH the clip the crowd was chanting Triple Threat too

Finally saw RAW, left it loading overnight
Yeah, sad trash talk b/w the two. And talk about rage quitting. The Rock's not being his best either. The lines and especially the delivery aren't there. Cena shows flashes of brilliance but overall even he isn't doing any better.
And what the *bleep* was the Cena alone in the stands sequence? Put me to sleep.
The amount of time they're giving these two is ridiculous. It'll be the last match at mania for sure.
