    That sum of 11k though.. I'd have a full lunch with dessert for 4-5 people atleast at a specialty 5 star restaurant for that much money.

     

    7 drunk people and me and they wanted to nibble at everything. Frigging everything. Hell the 12 sundaes only cost around 8k. Drunk girls are harder to control than drunk guys. Fact. :D

    Lol. This 1 is atleast as expensive as a 5 star with much better desserts. Also I wanna see PKP. Have heard good things about it. Anyway, these were friends. ;)

     

    Fatty n ev1 else, I didn't pay the whole thing. We shared. That's why I can laugh a bit now. But I gotta tell you this, when we saw that check, fat gayee thi. Buri wali. :P

    Yup! Right now, Voice Search in Android works okay'ish, useful only when you're in the car.

     

    Wonder if iOS/Android/WP7 will have better detection of voice commands anytime in the future.. that's the closest thing to ease of usage.

     

    Totally man. It'd be weird for the start though. :P

    @Supersim, hägen dasz is awesome. I went with a few friends and they were a bit tipsy, especially the three girls. They ordered goddamn everything. Came to 11k :fear:

    Maybe the SLCD screen version is slightly off with the touch though? Cos honestly I JBed a 3GS and a 4 for a classmate and another friend and played with each for the weekend. The Nexus S (SAMOLED one) is my daily-use phone and in my experience it's on par with the 4 when it comes to touch response (bearing in mind I use a simple and cheap screen guard kinda film too on it).

     

    Maybe though I doubt it. I didn't find te SGS2 so hot either, and the expendable (yuk) Optimus 2x :P

     

    After using the 2x I can compare mine & my bro's reaction to scenes in older Bollywood films when during a marriage ceremony the father of the groom would, very disgustingly, ask his son & wife to "chalo Ji" coz he didn't get the dowry or something :P

    U sure? I'd rather they launch a low end iPhone 4 type phone. With a 800 mhz proc, 512mb ram something.

     

    It would probably be an iTouch with a GSM radio chip. It starts at $229 so they can manage somewhere around 300-325 which would be fantastic for me mum. FaceTime away folks :P

     

    Also @Avkash, remember the iPod. Or now the iPad. Apple beats competitors on price too. Also, the 3GS would get iOS 5. Doesn't make it worth buying now though.

    Yeah, you're the most objective person to ask when it comes to android vs iOS. :P Seriously though, on the SGS, Nexus S, SGS2... devices in that range, there is no difference from the response on iOS. I've found the 3GS and the iPod based on the same to be almost as responsive but the iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4 is on the same level.

     

    Haha. Honestly though, I've fiddled with the devIces you mention enough to have come to the conclusion of not buying them. I thought the Nexus S for 19 (you remember me asking about it since i wanted to get it for my mom) odd is an amazing deal until I spent some time with it. I can adjust to the differences in usage, apps and even the average look of the OS but will not compromise on touch response for a touch based device. In my opinion, WP7 is better than android for fluidity in the OS and touch responsiveness out of the box.

    There really is no difference in touch sensitivity. However, the fitting in jeans thing is certainly subjective.

     

    Er..I've felt the responsiveness to touch a tad bit 'behind' in all android devIces I've used. The next best touch responsiveness to iOS is WP7. Even WebOS isn't there yet.

    Hmm. Maybe it's some sort of build up? I like the show and have high hopes. It was funny in places, like Drama PMSing, E feeling left out and the look Turtle gave when that Asian told him about the thing..Y'no..the thing? :P

     

    Although I'm not really convinced on the why Vince was pissed or "disappointed" with E. Weird.

     

    And I truly feel Drama is going to be the real hero of this season.

     

    Also, had to download & watch on the fone. The damn computer charger has conked twice in a month.

    Love the Al-bake's shwarmas. :wub:

     

    What Al Bake serves in the name of Shawarma is amazing but to call it Shawarma would be unfair.

     

    Also, had Kent's chicken burger at Def Col. Pretty damn good. May even e better than Zinger. Will have to have it a couple of times more to come to a conclusion.

    ^Lol. Yest I saw a video with Leno taking the MP4-12C around the Top Gear track. There was a sequence in the Mclaren factory where he said that both Lewis & Button had ordered one but he knew for a fact that "only one of them ordered the car with the optional parking sensors" :lol:

    A friend of mine in the US at Penn State just setup his Nexus S to communicate with the door of the house using NFC, to open/close/lock the door. No need of keys, and much faster.

     

    I myself use it to change profiles at different locations, office, car, home, desk, bed, etc. It's insane automation, limited by your imagination.

     

    I don't see commercial and widespread usage of NFC in India anytime soon, in the near or far distance. But for niche users like us, who go the extra mile, it's a useful gadget to have.

     

    This app along with Tasker helps you make use of the NFC chip, of course you need NFC tags too.

    That's super geeky and super cool. Though honestly I think future holds proper voice commands that actually work, something like but shy of how Tony Stark communicates with his robots in Ironman (the movie, haven't really read the comics)

     

    So guys i am looking forward to get my first android phone...But my budget is low :( ( MaX 11 k )

     

    Things i need in the phone :

     

    1. Smooth flowing touchscreen

     

    2. Fast web browsing

     

    3. Should be able to play lag free Angry birds :wub: and most of the android games

     

    Have these models in mind : LG Optimus One, LG Optimus Me, Samsung Galaxy Pop, HTC Wildfire

     

    So which of these phones (or any other) should i buy ?? Need some suggestions :)
