  1. Not if you have invested billions of money in 2 cars, and wanted both of them to reach the finish line in one piece. It's harsh from the viewer's point of view, but it's indispensable. Deal with it :P

The sport is dying man. You put out a single driver out there or two completely different teams. The scoring isn't helping either. The pressure is far less at this stage of the season.

  2. Alrite, since I'm on the phone can't quote all of yous but hotdamn Snatch is amazing. Maybe we should have a thread for that. Or atleast for discovering the words Mickey says. Absolutely my all time fav movie. " 'course it is!" :P

Also, Delhi Belly is one of the most fun movies I've ever seen. Although the experience was certainly made better with a bunch of friends around. With some similar internal jokes :P

  3. The stock speakers are utterly useless. I would recommend a woofer... I've got this monster.

But the head unit is more or less sufficient. Besides the design of the dashboard is such that a new one will stick out like a sight for sore eyes. I have kept the head unit and the front speakers, and have changed the back ones...

Er..that's a bass tube..? Aldo, the head unit is pretty crappy. It's around a 100 watts or maybe less. Can't even carry two decent 3 way speakers.

  4. Saw Delhi Belly, i dont think i cam pimp it any more. Great movie. Just the kind i love. Short, crisp and dark humor.

Vijay raaj is so freaking natural. Love his deadpan style. Veer Das was sublime as well.

Atleast someone else appreciated him. Amazing performance. BKL Baap ki baaraat mein aaye ho  and the way he was taking maza with that waiter

  5. @ Gaurav, it's my cuz's but we are pretty close so I've been having some fun with it ;)

    Atlantis blue LTZ AT.

Also at your civic story, the Japs are no match for American muscle. F&F has taught us atleast that in 5 movies. :P

  6. Hey guys,

Need a 6 socket or 8 socket surge protector/multiplug strip with individual switches for each socket. I'm currently using a similar strip with 4 sockets (all with individual switches) and the things needing connection have far exceeded that number.

    Specifically will connect the following:

    1) LED TV

    2) 2.1 system

    3) PS3

    4) DTH STB

    5) Laptop

    6) Router

    7) External HDD drive (optional - at least a minimum of 6 sockets required)

Any suggestions ? Please remember need something with individual switches. There are countless Belkins on Ebay but all are with a single on/off switch.

Budget is around 1.5k max. (Lesser the better ! :P)

    Thanks !

You'll get it at any half decent electrical store. Word of advice, use it on a big socket, the kind that can work a room heater or an AC. I had my X360 & PS3 plugged into the same spike guard along with the plasma (which isn't really energy efficient :P ) and had them on at the same time in a regular small socket. That bitch burned and almost consumed the spike guard plug. Also it was behind a glass wardrobe so took me a while to figure out where the frack was the shitty smell coming from :ack:

  7. Oh I've driven it plenty fast. You don't need the tires changed if you don't have any 'special' needs. It's a case of too mch effort for too little improvement, like when you put a 6 channel amp instead of a 4 channel one to drive your sub.

No dice. Forum members are nuts. Always.

  8. Oh, you have GOT to watch Delhi Belly. And, if you're from Delhi or anywhere up north do yourself a favor and watch it in Hindi.

I had no choice and had to (regrettably at first) go for the Hindi show but I'm glad I did. Awesome awesome movie. I'll probably catch the English show in a bit.

LOLest scene: the Hindi line for "this girl has given me blow job". It's as literal as can be

  9. From the link GS posted the Fluence looks like a reject from an 80's american sitcom which an out of work detective would drive.

In this segment I wouldn't even consider any car except the Cruze. Looks great, drives awesome and the interiors are just brilliant.

  10. Loved the first episode, TG is definitely back after two (relatively) boring seasons.

    Amy Williams <3

Man Amy Williams. She is smokin'. So funny the way Clarkson cut off the rally racer & May

What must it feel like to go down with your face inches from the ice at 70mph? Man.

Also, anyone know if the M1 is being planned for India?

  11. Yea Lith, nice try. Body language is one of the most telling forms of communication. Fed gets sore everytime. It's like after all the years of competition-less wins has rendered him impotent. He just can't take the heat. More than that, he can't believe that he's losing to the people he's losing to.

  12. All that remains to be seen is how serious his foot injury is. This aint clay, where his game is miles apart everyone else's. On Grass, Murray, Novak and Roger are stronger than they are on clay so anything short of 100% will mean no silverware for Rafa this year.

Rafa has picked up his game so well outside of clay in the last 4 years. His style of extremely physical play, extraordinary reach, his attitude on court even his mannerisms, that scowl on his face and his fist pump..he's just too good a player. An inspiration for me.

Tsonga.. betich*d forehands and serve o_0

    :majesty:

btw one thing i have noticed, fedrer is amongst the most sore losers i have seen, people harp about his nice guy image... bollocks, just see when he loses a match, goes all cold and lukewarm congratulation to his opponent. I am not saying its bad to be a sore loser (lord knows i am one) but it does not sit well with the gentleman aura that his worshippers have created. A stark contrast to nadal.. one of the most humble fella on court.

Yeah. He doesn't know how to behave like a champ. Non gracious in the face of competition. I missed all the matches today, was out playing myself. FCUK.

The style that Nadal plays puts pressure on his ankles. He doesnt have a long career. 2-3 years more, unless he changes his style.

Nah. I think he'll take it. Endurance, he's got some.

I read an article on how the game and courts have changed and become so slower. No more of those serve fests we used to see from Sampras and Rafter etc in the 90s. I was watching an old 1998 or 1997 match of Sampras on ESPN the other day. Man, the rallies were hardly 4-5 shots. Most was just missiles sent by pete and the opponent moving from side to side. Apparently this caused lot of viewership to plummet and spectators got bored of it :S. I have no idea how they got bored, but to see Pistol Pete play was a treat to the eyes.

So, the ITF and ATP guys have deliberately slowed down all the courts, almost made carpet courts irrelevant, modified the balls etc to suit the slower game so as to increase rallies and keep the interest of spectators. I personally think long rallies are good as the player can clevely and patiently construct the point for himself and after each shot int he rally, the crowd is more tense and immersed in the game. Although, a counter argument could be that everyone grinds today. Except maybe the Americans with their monster serves, rest just grind it out.

That's just coz brawn has started ruling all sport now. People want to see much more physical spectacles.

  13. If its like MI 3 or MI 1, more plot oriented, Id watch it. If its anything like MI 2, Ill avoid. I cant tell much from the trailer, but looks like there a lot of spots. Lot of spots = MI 2.

Mmm..I enjoyed MI II a lot. Wasn't that the biggest hit in the franchise?

    John Woo isn't involved.

    We're safe.

Safe from outrageous mind blowing eye numbing awesome screen spectacle? Okay.
