^^ Don't know about the book, but 'the bone collector' movie had a pretty lousy ending.
I haven't seen the movie nor have I read the book but I hear the book is better.

Non-fiction. Talks about a lot of things before they've been made public officially like Gears and Spore as well the evolution of genres like RPGs and FPS. Lots of fun to read.

Have just started reading again and I'm currently reading The Sleeping Doll - Jefferey Deaver.
Kathryn Dance, an investigator with the California Bureau of Investigation, returns from Deaver's The Cold Moon (where she was a secondary) in this post–prison break pulse-pounder. Dance is the lead cop handling the escape of psychopathic killer Daniel Pell, dubbed "Son of Manson" by the press for his "family" of young runaways and his most horrendous crime, the murders of computer engineer William Croyton, Croyton's wife and two of their three children. The only child left alive, nine-year-old Theresa, is known as the Sleeping Doll. Pell, charismatic and diabolically intelligent, continually eludes capture, but Dance, a specialist in interrogation and kinesics (or body language), is never more than a few suspenseful minutes behind.
And in case you didn't know Deaver is the person behind the Bone Collector as well.

Sure thing dude. Am playing the game at home and so far the performance is pretty underwhelming. This is probably the worst port Rockstar have ever made (from a technical standpoint).

Well they didn't make the mod themselves or anything. Either way they've done a good job of porting all previous GTA games to the PC. I think this port is as bad as Undercover.

It's not only EG. IGN, Kikizo and other sites very conviniently skimmed over this game's technical faults. It's fkin bullshit but they do what it takes to survive I guess. No one wants to piss a company like R* off.

It's sad (but true) but certain distributors/publishers ask you to hold back on these sort of negative aspects of the review. Or they stop sending games to you.
