    guys... how many players can play in multiplayer... i mean total player count in a map... ??

     

    16 in the maps I've been playing so far. Also the kill cams in this MP fkin suck. They're completely useless and are just a waste of time.

    Also the matchmaking is kinda fked. It kept pairing me up with Americans so there was quite a bit of bullet lag in most of my games.

     

    And thanks to some not so l33t skillz, our crew is now ranked 174 in the world.

    awww, that sucks ! how bad is it ? As bad as some COD games where enemies keep coming until u cross some mark ?

     

    BTW, is there any variety to missions ? or is it all "go to a warehouse and take down everyone" from start to end ?

     

    Enemies don't keep spawning until you hit the an event marker but the last few levels just sucked. You just face wave after wave of dudes armed to the teeth with helmets and kevlar. It's boring and not to mention frustrating because you need multiple head shots to kill them, plus Max dies real easy and without a manual-save you have to play the same sh*t over and over again. Not fun at all.

     

    Getting some very mixed reviews. Bunch of 7 and 8s from most decent places along with the usual 9+ paid reviews from the garbage places.

     

    Looks like Rockstar dropped the ball on this one.

     

    Not really. It's still a very solid and if you're an MP sort of guy, all the better for you.

     

    Eurogamer gives 7/10 :thumbdown:

     

    Stupid review, stating bullet time kills get boring after a while. Really? When was killing in bullet time boring? And the difficulty issues should be nullified by playing with KB and mouse.

     

    Most definitely. This game is really made for mouse and KB IMO.

    As a game, if you have played the prev games, you'll know what to expect, stylish john woo style action....with R*, expect some mature storytelling thrown in as a bonus. So take a call :bigyellowgrin:

     

    Plus this time you also get some really cheap enemy spawns and a mindless grind towards the end. Yay

    Ah, the 'ol mouse and keyboard excuse for a bad k/d ratio :P/runs

     

    Lol I got no excuse for that. My first game I was like 10 kills 30 deaths >_<

    So I played some MP for around two hours today and it's a lot of fun. Has got a bit of a learning curve but shoot dodging actual people is awesome. Maps are taken from SP so if you haven't finished the campaign, don't play MP if you're sensitive about spoilers.

     

    I still have to figure out how to throw nades or change my burts, Nothing is really explained so you just have to go in and experiment. Oh and the customization is quite impressive. Crew logo in game looks complete boss.

     

    PS: Totally hating the fact that I'm playing this with a controller.

    I thought you were getting the PC version and only MT was getting the X360. :(

     

    Dude I am but I can't not play the game till June.

     

    console games always look crap on screenshots.which are upscaled

     

    when you will be playing be 3 ft ways on a tv monitor it will looks great

    I'll quote some impression which I got from friends not mine ,I'll be starting tonight.:ph34r:

     

    "I even shot a dead body to see how it would react to the bullet hole and what i witnessed was unreal, a hole was formed with blood dizziling out, the blood then began to soak into the carpet around the body, the attention to detail is ridiculous."

     

    Not to dampen the hype train or anything but I think that was there in GTA IV as well.

    So I started playing this game today on PC. I noticed there is a high resolution texture pack available for download. Can anyone tell me whether it's worth it? I mean does it make a noticeable difference and how does it affect the performance? I heard it increases the load time.

     

    Don't waste time on that. Instead go to your Steam Workshop or Skyrim Nexus and check out some of the visual mods out there. They will blow your fking mind away.
