  1. when they first spoke about putting that in, there were discussions about it ruining the fluidity and the spot decisions but all that put aside, I think I enjoy a bit of drama and having the ability to 'not know' what the outcome could be. They are human after all and its not like anyone has been showering them with praise so they get lazy or enact personal vendettas. The FA is certainly to blame for not putting more juice into their own referees but that doesn't mean that managers get away with comments about their work either. I don't think I would be happy with Dagalish getting mad at a ref either but then again I don't see a bad call as a reason to lose faith and in turn lose a game.

  2. Fergie finally getting the book thrown at him

However you know the sad thing here right? It won't stop him from being the way he is. I still don't agree with this accumulated garbage but its good that the FA is showing the rest of the teams that they don't care who they do what to. For a while we will see some docile managers till it happens again.

  3. i can see the three games but taking 2 from last year? total ridiculousness. This accumulation schema is quite funny lol. But to be honest SAF has been a nutter towards the refs in general so it was a long time coming and you don't go out and make comments like the one that was made without expecting repercussions. You can win a 100 titles but the FA in any country will treat you like a spring chicken if you touch one of their own.

  4. The way everyone was getting hamstring injuries yesterday was a bit ominous but they pulled through. That back line isn't where it needs to be and against faster-paced and more accurate passing teams it will crumble. They missed so many sitters to put the game away yesterday. On another note, did anyone see Mario playing yesterday? Why in the world isn't he even half of that for the national team?

  5. Marseille could have sealed the deal twice and they messed up even on good counters but the way they were playing wasn't really something you want to see in the later stages. Bayern have themselves to blame for poor defending and just holding the ball without any purpose. Eto'o comes around, unbalances one defender and then slots it wide to Pandev to end Bayern's dreams to qualifying for the next round. Brilliant football today.

  6. yeah i see Bayern going through. United are getting dodgy at the back very slowly and Gignac and Diawara missed some good chances as well. Although to be honest I see another United goal and its coming from Rooney imo. He's all over the pitch and if Marseille slip up its curtains for them. When I look at it now, I'd like someone like Lucho to come to Anfield. He's got the skill but isn't being utilized well.

  7. I sometimes wonder how the two of them share the same field and play for the same team. One man just can't stand anyone and the other just loves himself so much he doesn't care what he does or where he does it. Robinho truly belongs back in Brazil where he was made to shine and work hard because he knew that the next big thing was sitting around waiting to make him look like dirt. Ibra should retire soon and move to a middle-eastern country where they will pay him loads and put up with his BS because they will respect him no matter what.

Europa League today was okish imo, we are 1 - 0 on aggregate but they have to come to Anfield and beat us there, I don't see that happening personally but then again this has been a strange season.

  8. lol at shek and repped. Yeah the referee made it harder for Arsenal but towards the end they kind of gave up and after that it was pointless because they were getting bombarded in midfield. RvP shouldn't have been sent off personally, with a crowd that big and with all the noise being made, it was a bit funny. Kicking the ball away that was card-worthy but the not hearing and getting sent off totally not right and when the commentator said there was a one second differential I just laughed and said its all over now. Oh well onto the next match for the week :).

  9. he likes setting things up his way thats what i am saying and no one else had better do it differently or get in his way otherwise he turns into a tyrant. Ever seen the Barcelona documentary about LVG? Some of the players didn't follow him because they respected him, they just feared him. And Chelsea whats going on there, Lampard is scoring which is good I suppose.

  10. Bayern have confirmed LVG will leave at the end of this season

    Yessssssssssssssssssss Finalllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

He used to be such a dynamite coach but he's losing it slowly and his love for being 'in-control' is going to do him in eventually.

  11. i want Bale at United next season.

He is the only player who seems capable of replacing Sir Giggs.

Redknapp will take Sir Alex's testicles and his brain before doing that lol. I'm joking but yeah the man is on fire, he missed a sitter yesterday too but Wolves truly deserved to win that game such a shame the referee got in the way.

@choy: Your an Arsenal supporter? Always pegged u as a United supporter or are you a neutral who likes watching good football?

  12. i kind of got what he was saying and here it is in one line

Puyol and Pique aren't playing in the match lol

Catenaccio will save Arsenal even though Pep was smirking during the press release. Wenger should cut his losses short and just do the best thing that can be done shut their option and will to attack. There will not even be any need to score goals, just pressure and frustrate them. We all know how easily they break down when they don't get their rhythm and that's what should be done on their pitch.

  13. when u look at it again u can probably see why he was crying just hope its not serious. Its quite sad when players get the bad end of the stick. I am reminded of the T-REX De Jong lol. Mick has been unlucky so far Hutton should be off and now they disallow a goal? Spurs are lucky.

  14. :O Its your birthday???

If yes then Happy birthday. If no then please ignore as I have taken a blow to my head tonight.

Suarez you talented little fker you... :chair:

lol no Birthday is next week sunday but u know Turkish people they find any excuse to celebrate anything and they are leaving on Tuesday so it was drinks and a game tonight. I got a Galatasaray jersey as an early present.

  15. Anfield, United, Kenny and Suarez. I saw one United supporter cursing tonight and another that tried to shove the "we are still top of table" rubbish in my face. I still feel that the bigger match was against Blackpool though lol.

    Points for tonight

    1. Suarez can dance [lol i know i said it before but the man is a turn-master]

    2. Kuyt did his job again and just poached and poached. I am happy he got his hat-trick

    3. The only United player that I wanted to see score did his job as well

    4. We have probably found our no. 7 replacement since I have been watching pool and yes I have seen Dagalish play and manage before this. I was young and I had trouble saying his name lol.

    5. Look it wasn't Martin Atkinson but I still feel some of the tackles deserved more than a yellow card. Nani shouldn't have cried but that's life I suppose and even Raul tried to go over and console him.

It was a good game and I suppose that if Vidic was on the field things might have been different but then again he wasn't and so we are left with this result. The highlight of the night was hearing the KOP sing Happy Birthday and my friend who supports Fenerbache sing Happy Birthday for me too, drunken shenanigans at their best.
