As for SAF, its good to get mental about things not going your way but yeah giving it to the refs is not kosher and that goes for any manager out there even if the ref is a blind-youknowwhat. That said I cant see why the FA wants him to serve four days with the 2 days coming from something he got dished out for in 2009? That imo is a bit unfair and needs to be forgotten. What were they doing all this time? Waiting to see if he'd slip and then give him four lol. Hogwash and its strange but I kind of feel bad for refs who get bad-mouthed not only by managers but players as well. Its not sportman-like and its definitely not becoming of the sport in general. Fine the manager/club, impose a two match-ban and call it a day. Anything more is a witch-hunt.

I would overload the midfield and make the defensive lapses pay if I were him. Having a weakened defense means that as a team you have to ensure that your opposition spends more time defending and causing errors for you to load the pressure. Going with that in mind, having a three man back line due to a missing/inefficient wing defensive unit makes more sense and offering stronger D options in midfield with a striker mash-up in front offers breadth, diversity and cutting options for the team playing in front. On the flip-side having a strong defensive unit against such a team might nullify everything as well. I still think we'll get punished on their left-attack wing but that all remains to be seen on Sunday.
@dabba: I have watched him play a few times now and I am not completely impressed just yet. He is missing someone to do the one-two passing with in the box. He almost had a rhythim going with SG in the west ham game but I think it will come with some more game-time and the introduction of our holding-striker [if such a position exists]

by liverpool...this is according to the sportscentre on espn...
You still have to remember that we don't have Martin Kelly [he has been in killer form] and that side of the pitch always hurts us. Even without Rio and Vidic United still have a fully operating midfield that passes well when it has to. Tht said, I want to see Gerrad, Meireles, Carroll, Suarez and Kuyt link up. It's going to be very interesting. If we go out in the first half all guns blazing we might stand a chance of rattling the cage and putting this one to bed.

ummm no. Suarez is a little more different when it comes to the goal-mouth. He waits and pulls out wide or does diagonals that open spaces for others to run. Tevez is a bull with a beacon on its head. The only thing we are missing right now is an enforcer in the front to hold the ball. That would make things a little more concrete up front but like i said earlier the left hand side of United's attack will be where we get hurt on Sunday. Nani is pissed, Rooney was drifting out there, Evra was running there and we don't have someone that can hold that side like Ivanovic. Unless we play a sweeper and use that man as a cover shield but even then I have seen that arse leave Carra's spot wide open when the runs are made.

Ty Chelsea. Now all we need is an in-form partnership from Meireles-Gerrard-Suarez and it will work for us if we don't lose our heads. Dire calling by the ref on some of the fouls but it all worked out in the end and Chelsea came out in the second half with a mission and succeeded. Drogba at the end just brilliant possession.

I can now see our match with United and to be honest it is not looking good. We will get punished down the left hand wing and only one man will be to blame on that day ... please Kenny for the love of god and the sport of football do not play him.

its good that the whistle blew because the last 10 minutes were in United's half. I am still in shock about why Ashley Cole of all people is taking free kicks when they are that close to goal.

King Kenny needs to take a few notes after this game.
a. Please don't play N'Gog again because the man should own a meat shop with the way he butchers productive counter play
b. An overloaded midfield has always done us wonders and we learned it today against W.Ham because they overran us in the midfield
c. Glen J needs to be shown a map and have it printed everywhere he goes about what his position is because for a few minutes there I think he was under the impression that he was a winger and forgot what his real position is [sIGH]
Robert Greene should get MOTM because for all the blunders he has had he killed one super pass by Gerrard to Suarez and then denied Suarez again. I just hope that Andy can make a good recovery because with him playing shephard and Suarez playing terrier we might see more goals. N'gog can be the jester in the stands for all I care he just needs to be unloaded.

if i was Rafael id pack up and take my jersey off I dont think SAF will even risk putting him on in the second half lol. But its been dismal from both teams in the last 7 minutes, carra didn't need to commit that foul and it turned into a nasty affair for both teams. Skrtel should have just stayed back and let Rafael walk because the ref already blew the whistle. I see one more goal in this one and its going in a non-liverpool goal but thats just me.
Oh and SUAREZ CAN DANCE!!!!
