Did anyone watch the Roma - Shakhtar match yesterday? Menez goal was a proper top corner slot and he did it with such ease too. His feet are something to watch for because he just twists and turns at will.

He just ran and ran and made every tackle count. If he keeps this up he's going to be one of the greats one day. But that still remains to be seen.

wow is all i can say but to be honest, in the first half Arsenal looked more lively and were playing better attacking football till that ball went into the goal. Then the second half came around and WOOT! lol

I suppose Seedorf should retire too but he might still have a little in his tank left. Plus when you look at that squad its filled with oldies. I remember a time when AC used to be top-flight and crushed teams [minus Istanbul lol which was a wakeup call]. After that witch-hunt in Serie A it all went to sh*t and they haven't truly recovered since then.

Zlatan is a wet firecracker and Robinho is a nomad without a proper cause hardly anything to go by for a team that has housed some of the best in their prime. Their CL campaign will end on their trip to England unless they work some magic and sort their game out. Gattuso used to be brilliant yes but even back then he was a little terrier that snapped at everything it saw. I like the man for his drive but he's got to be a little more level-headed considering his age and the amount of shenanigans he has done over his career.
P.S. Seedorf is still someone I admire in that team

Milan what have you become. Gattuso needs to retire its in the better interest of the club and football as a sport. He's way too aggressive for his own good and everyone else knows it too. I am glad that Raul is still scoring too always liked the guy. I figured Valencia would win it but sadly their own football let them down. Had to keep flipping between channels to watch both matches.

I am looking forward to some CL action tonight as well. I see the Spurs vs Milan game going to a draw and the other game might be a good watch personally.

Torres takes time to warm-up. Give him time he'll show his mettle. It is still mathematically possible for Chelsea to retain a CL spot but that all depends on Tottenham slipping up and the other top three doing some damage to each other as well. There are some interesting matchups starting in March and then at the end of April as well. This season has been one of the best in terms of the fact that even if your number 7 u can easily drop down to 13 in two weeks. Simply amazing stuff.

Call me silly but doesn't he look like he's about to bend over and start heaving any second in that pic? For the amount of "love (sarc.)" i have for Brazil I will always say that that man in the pic is a striking genius and this was during his time at Inter and even Barca for that matter [that is a golden barca team and this one is shaping up too]. He's played in Italy, Netherlands, Brazil and Spain and ... he's lasted in all of them quite stunning really.

and so it begins. Now i have marked my calendar [liverpool one... thanks to my secret santa] with the finals of the ICC. My wife looked at it and said why are you marking a cricket world cup finals on a football calendar? I just replied by saying "That's when television returns to normal for football fans in India". Going by the way we promote sports I find it funny that Hockey didn't get all three channels and better coverage but such is life. Streaming FTW!

forget Robben it was Olic that was the starter of the party that saw their exit from the CL. That man just runs and runs terrific work-rate and has no shame in running at a ball 2 miles away because he still believes he will get to it somehow.

yeah i keep telling my dad that he has the right team just the wrong era lol and .... BATMAN AND ROBBEN ... jesus I thought just disappeared lol. What's even more funnier is when you look at roaming CDMs or switch defenders you really can't discount the dutch there. Plus they manufacture some swift wingers. Its either PSV or Ajax and I wonder what their youth systems do that train these players to be the way they are.

it used to pain me watching forlan playing in the Europa league because I can be honest here and say that given the right kind of backing hes a very good CAM[makeshift]/Striker. Which is why I am so happy that Suarez is at Liverpool now. I'll say it now, they drink some jingle-juice at Ajax that breeds them for greatness at every other club except Ajax lol

Ah a draw as expected but its all good imo, thanks Tottenham did us a favor today and United down City woot. I saw some Arsenal highlights and am now waiting to see them play Barca it promises to be exciting stuff.
I just wish Suarez had hit one of the two bar bounces into the back of the net. that game was ours for the taking shame the woodwork got in the way

You should just give in and get an operator that has TA+ but don't fall into my conundrum where one week I am looking at three channels of crickets and soon after I have three channels showing different games of football
... I should have invested in PIP even if it is shitty. Quite sad really considering this is Kenny's first outing for us at the Europa league and I doubt any channel is showing that
