    Out of sheer curiosity? Any Liverpool fans in here? I know there are some ardent Man Utd and Arsenal fans as can be seen by the latest post hehe. Oh and if there are any L'pool fans in here I want to know if there are meets in Bangalore; been dying to meet some other fans

    i dont know i think the other game will be more interesting considering the form Egypt are in and how much I love watching the US get a trashing and behave like paraplegics when they leave the field. but for the Brazil vs Italy game yeah i'd like Italy to win it

    I think United will be fine and I have this silly feeling that they'll b better off without CR. SAF has a plan to bring the youth up and yes while they might not be the best in the league, he also has to think about upper management and clearing debts. Not everyone can be as silly as Perez and just go spending mad to bring in Galacticos 2.0 ... I hope it doesn't backfire on them.

     

    P.S. I am not even a United supporter but this is SAF and the man has been known to be a genius at times

     

    On a side note, what everyone's thought on Ribery?

    Serious or NOT! Football is football...... and my money is on Spain to win the Confed cup and the World Cup next year.

     

    After watching the Iraq game and the counter attack style gameplay that they did (which was silly imo) it seems like they still have a little more work to do when they get to the big stage but yes they are favorites to knock everyone out. However, there are still teams they haven't seen yet but I think this WC is going to finally see them win some gold because its been a long time coming and they always crash and burn after impressive group stages. No more choking for Spain ... we hope.

    pffft... its just confed cup. no one takes it seriously.

     

    Hehe in an off-season I guess these players should be resting but they are playing internationals and it is the Confed-Cup which is a mix of the best teams from each of the respective regions so its different from the WC and definitely something teams take seriously because they want to know the competition before the WC. If any team wins this one they just go into the WC stronger because of leverage so yeah its a bit serious.

    If a phone costs 35K I would expect it to match the ability of a low-end laptop and provide me all the functionality for on the go work. Nokia just sucks when it comes to office productivity at all levels. Sure you've got an OS that is fast and all the bells and whistles that go with it but if anyone has every used a BlackBerry or a Palm they know that when they have work to do, the synching, the quality of the apps that come along with the phone and the ease of use with Enterprise environments (Security and Infrastructure Synchronism) just puts a Nokia to shame hands down.

     

    Of course if its not for Enterprise work then you might as well pick up anything that suits your fancy :bash:

    Italy gets owned by Egypt and the United States are slowly slipping out the of the tourney ... I see USA '94 all over again. I wonder what the Italians were thinking when they went on the field and decided to take Egypt lightly. I don't even think they deserved the last world cup and any good team would have looked at the Brazil game and simply said to themselves that we can't take these guys and treat them as a walkover. I am now hoping that Egypt goes far in this tourney and I even hope they go to the finals. It would be a nice touch for the Conf Cup and definitely a boost for all the African nations going to SA '10 but alas we know that the cheating Brazilians and the fast-paced Spaniards also await them ahead in the tourney when they depart from the group stages.

    Lets hope that the 80M is well spent or else I can see some very disgruntle Spaniards in the stands and if there is no silver next season in La Liga or from the CL its going to be all eyes on Perez lol. Good for them though and now they have eyes on David Villa? Its going to be a bit lopsided but then again if you flash big bucks in a players eyes they will just follow like a dog behind a bone.
