    I am flying back on 28th and wanted to have a taste of this game before returning. Looks like I will have to shell out money for PS3 version. By the way, how did you play this game? you still have your ps3 intact and with you?

     

    yeah, I carried my PS3 when I moved to US as I wasn't sure when I'd pick PS4. I'd suggest buying used copy of DS1(and Demon Souls, yes I completed this too) from any of the stores in Aus as they are sold for a very low price now.

    Graphics comparable to bloodborne ?

     

    on par with bb and better in few places. Lighting torch in the dark areas is just eye candy, almost as good as the DS2 pre nerf :fear:

    Any way to play this game offline on Steam?

    downloaded the game in 2 days and now, same amount of update is being downloaded :wallbash:

     

    downloading @54 kbps :P

     

     

    the wait is completely worth it, easily the best game in the souls series.

    I played the demo at playstation experience and the game looked and felt amazing. I was a given a 10 min stopclock to go as far as possible and I almost reached the boss, maybe because I watched the many runs on youtube prior to trying it at PSX :P

    wont be a ND game without it. every game of theirs goes through this same exact problem at launch.

    not just at launch :hypocrite: I remember waiting for a match for over 10 minutes on many occasions. MM issues were not a huge problem if you are in Americas/Europe.

    But since he already had it dloaded in his system he cloudnt again

     

    So it wasn't coming in my library

     

    & he uploaded a save file but my system refused to read that file saying you do not have the application required to use this save

    Not true.

     

    To add the game to your library, yash(yashmalhotra?) should delete the beta from PS4 before triggering the download after signing into your account so that the download starts on his PS4(again) and game gets added to your account's library. If the game/beta is already downloaded in his system, click on beta from your account just starts the already downloaded beta as it is already installed.

     

    Its just a hurdle put in place by ND to drive UCC sales I believe. You can easily bypass it.

     

    Also people acting as if ND started this process of locking beta's have no clue of how betas were working since last 5-6 years. :lol:

     

     

     

    Matchmaking is sh*t. Found 5 players after more than 10 minutes, and eventually lost them all over a period of 5 minutes while I waited for the match to begin. Now again searching for players. Don't think I'll get a match at all tonight.

     

    I spent ~5 hours in the game and the usual ND matchmaking fails exist(read: party splits, failing to find players if a party split occurs). But finding players has not been a problem at all for me. I have been consistently finding players within 15-20 seconds even when I was in matchmaking with a part of 5(Me, Taz, Alpacino and few other IVG UC regulars)

    Ruz is guessing that with a physical disk, you just give your ID and pwd to your friend and he activates download when signed into your account on his PS4 to add the beta to your library. This may or may not work.

     

     

    This works, my disc is still with usps and Deepak activated the game for me :dance:

    You need someone who can download the beta and get the beta file into your library.

    The disc is not required to boot the beta as stated in the pic. The disc is like a code here.

    they need not download the whole thing, just activate the download and hopefully it will be in the library when you switch the account as primary on your PS4.

    no one knows yet.

     

    My game is shipped but will not be delivered late today. I am asking one of the UC veterans to activate download onto my account so that the beta will get added to my library. N

    I'll be really surprised if they do it. They may likely announce at PSX that the beta will be open on the last 3 days(11, 12, 13 - Fri, Sat, Sun) for everyone.
