It should be on pre-orders & not tied with old games forcing you to buy them even if you don't feel like

I wouldn't actually compare GOW3's remaster with UC collection but I can understand your frustration about the whole thing.

I remember reading somewhere that UC collection owners get the beta a week early than rest of the crowd. Dont think the beta is exclusive to UC collection owners. Anyway, I'll pickup the collection sometime this week for the beta. Its not like the three games that come with the collection are mediocre ones

You have not specified any budget, so I have taken the liberty to suggest some of the best you can get.

 

Update: Got the ASUS monitor and the difference of playing MP shooters on a big screen and a gaming monitor is clearly visible. I gave up on Destiny's PvP content as I was doing horribly bad. Changed the screen and I am doing significantly better.
