    sehwag rested so technically dropped, i think they will rotate sachin and sehwag for the entire series.

     

    Three spinners??? Bowl FIrst??? Wats wrong with this a*s...

     

    Its weird.I'm still wondering y we are playing 3 spinners..

     

    Vinay Kumar bowled very well..He even did well against England in India also...There's no way he's gonna be dropped...

    Umesh and Zak are in the team right ??Whats the point of keeping Irfan on bench..He could have atleast played Duleep trophy here..

    There was no need of 3 sipinners IMO..They could have got it Irfan in place of Jadeja or one of the spinner...

     

    Sehwag dropped ?? Injured ??

    Teams could have picket Luke Wright , Darren Bravo and Owais Shah at base price...

     

    Delhi team looks lot decent now..They had all pathetic players last year..

    Mumbai made some good buys too..Mitchell Johnson , RP Singh , Malinga and Harbhajan..Thats a good bowling line up..

     

    Too bad Sahara pulled out :(..

    I wish atleast Pune will be aprt of this years IPL...

    Parthiv dint play well against England..He was sent up the order , but failed..

     

    I think we should give Dinesh Karthik 1 more chance..That guy is very flexible , can bat anywhere..

    He's a good keeper also a very good fielder...

     

    He does'nt waste balls too , he either keeps rotating strike or he'll get out...

    His performance in International cricket is what counts.It was embarrassing watching him bowl in the Perth test. There are various instances of bowlers(2 of them i mentioned in the previous post) who have taken truck-loads of wickets in Ranji Cricket,but we all know how their Int Career panned out.

    There may be no zonal quota on paper but when you have selectors from different zones and player selection is on a majority vote,the result is you have Abhimanyu Mithun and Vinay Kumar playing Test matches in Australia and Irfan Pathan twiddling his thumbs back home

     

    Vinay kumar is good enough for tests i agree...Picking him ahead of Irfan for the test series was completely foolish..

    But IMO he can do decent job in ODI's n T20 with his variations in pace and cutters..

     

    Mithun is no good for International Cricket , I donno y he's getting so much opportunity..

    He can just bowl inswingers..He literally has no variety at all...

    I don't care how well he bowled today,it baffles me how he made it to the national team.Only reason i can see is the zone quota system.The same system which has given us tearaways like Debashish Mohanty and Dodda Ganesh in the past.

     

    He's among top 3 wicket takers from past 4 seasons..

    He picked most wickets in domestic cricket for 2 consecutive seasons(2007 n 2008 i believe.)

    So the Zonal quoto got him that ???

     

     

    AFAIK there's no zonal qouto for the selection of national team...

    kohli will go a long way for us..Even if he fails once or twice , he'll come back as a better player..

    I think we should also give Raina few opportunities..Even he has the talent..

     

    People like you make Cricket a solo player's game instead of a team game :doh:

     

    Dude For me watching Sachin bat is entertaining..Ill pay anything to watch it..

    I believe he's got lot more to offer to the team..He's also very fit btw..

    U may have a different opinion..but this is whati feel..

     

    ^^true, but somehow i feel Parthiv is a better batsmen then saha...

    Parthiv got opportunities in ODI's..But he dint perform so well..

     

    All the 3 backup wk's are actually doing well in Domestic cricket..

    Dinesh Karthik , saha and Parthiv..

     

     

    Except Zak , no1 is consistent..Atleast Umesh Yadav performed in patches..But Ishanth was a total disappointment..

    We gotta rely on Praveen Kumar and hope Irfan comes back to awesome form...

    There media will not go all against them and there supporters will stand by them, but not in our country.

     

    Also does anyone in English media will be writing that lets make turning pitches so that we can perform better outside. No Sir. BUt our media wants green pitches, media and fans are Hypocrites.

    Wait and watch. Their next tour is Sri Lanka. There will be a white wash there. SL just needs to play Ajantha Mendis, and England will be sh*tting in their pants. Soon they will be losing by an innings. Sure, they are not playing as pathetic as India at the moment, especially our batting is hopeless. But soon, they will show how worse they can get. No one can improve their batting against quality spin overnight. Just wait and watch.

     

    And its high time our big 3 retired. Just tell them to GTFO and give youngsters a chance. Give Sehwag a test series and if he fails, kick him out as well.

    n y Sehwag dude ? 1 bad series n u want him to be out..Dont count his performance in England , he was'nt fit..BCCI forced him to play...

     

    Laxman n Dravid will probably retie in next series or max 2 or 3 series..

    Saw Don 2....massive LOL, filled with loopholes and crappy one liners....biggest comedy of the year .... the movie actually had something going for it until the heist, and then looks like the filmmakers decide to get all cocky and don-ish and screw the movie to the ground ! I reallly lol'd when SEK sends a criminal and an Interpol (Indian agent, who was part of his drug organization some years back btw) to resolve the hostage situation .... the icing on the cake was when PC offers to go alone with Don to face the two baddies....and the german officer says 'good luck :lol:

     

    The ending scenes b/w srk n pc were utter crap...

     

    Last 45 mins of the movie defies logic in all possible ways..

    n thisi s not the biggest comedy of the year..That goes to Ra One

    well you have to give him a long run and make him play from the first game of the series. He has class as well. Pujara is all talk no show for me. Wat's the use of class if you are injured all the time :P

     

    Badrinath is already over 30..So he wont get a chance..

     

    Raina can also be given some opportunities..

    replace dravid with Yuvi, Laxman with Rohit, promote Kohli to 3. Give One more series to Chewag and gambhir or else get there replacements too. Give badrinath a long run too, one of the most unlucky cricketer in this gen.

     

     

    Badrinath got enough opportunities..He failed to perform...

    Don think he'll be recalled...

     

    Pujara is 1 more good batsman..He got injured at a wrong time...
