  1. The AX1800 might be a little more future-proof considering the 6K budget?
  2. Guys, does Elite: Dangerous have co-op MP? Would be pretty cool if it does.
  3. I think it's a 2.1 port, but won't support all 2.1 features. Be very careful because a lot of manufacturers will try to get away on technicalities. I just looked at the product page and didn't notice anything about 120Hz, for example.
  4. Seriously. Those videos really show it off
  5. Yea, it's all about your specific use case. This is probably awesome if you're building a listening room for music. Or if you're flush enough to fund a full setup later on that matches the quality of the R41/51...
  6. I have an A/V receiver, but yea I don't think you can fit a soundbar under the CX. It's way too low. You'll either need to wall mount or custom build a hollow/cavity stand for the TV (kinda like a monitor riser) so you can slot a soundbar underneath it :/
  7. Inbuilt amp should be the best for the active speakers, right? Depends. It's probably a really good pair of active speakers, but I doubt the amp and dac they fit into those small enclosures will be as good as a proper receiver. Remember that these are stereo speakers meant for music. I'm not sure how they would perform if they had to decode 2.0 audio. Your TV would probably need to downmix a 5.1 or 7.1 track from a bluray or game to 2.0. So it's less about best (which it likely is in its 2.0 bookshelf speakers for music original use case) and more about what you're decoding as per your use case - you're essentially paying 50K for 2.0 stereo sound that may or may not work with a receiver down the line. You also need to see if this pair has the inputs to add a sub and center+back channels. Mind you, this is just me going on without any hands on experience. Have you checked the Q&A section on the Amazon.om product page? I find that for products like these, you'll find more inputs there simply because there are more people buying.
  8. Yep, pretty common and works on a number of devices. It's a HDMI-CEC feature, afaik. Can get annoying when you have multiple devices all with HDMI-CEC on, lol.
  9. Pretty critical word missing there
  10. Totally fair, but just remember that going all Klipsch (or a same-tier brand) will add it up fast. You're still missing the receiver and a bunch of the other channels. And I'm not sure you'll need active speakers anymore if you plan on getting a receiver down the line. A receiver will drive passive speakers better and provide better audio than any active set can? Worth looking into/thinking about.
  11. Awesome Make sure you get all the settings right and calibrate HDR on both consoles
  12. Why wouldn't you just post an image
  13. Awesome! Congrats, @koolkunz and @kunjanp
  14. 50K and you're still missing a center channel and a sub? I love bookshelf speakers (have a pair of Edifiers), but they're primarily for music imho. The more separation you have for movies and games the better, I would think. Just a contrarian view, and I've never tried this specific model or used bookshelf speakers for anything other than music.
  15. Only if it's a team mode! Some capture and hold the area thing like domination
  16. Yes, but it's also about if there's a local market for it. There may be if they can price it close to the Samsung Frame 50 inch. Hmmm.
  17. Tough call. And I don't know anyone who's actually taken the extra 2 years either :/ The problem is we'll likely never get those prices in India.
  18. @WhatsInTheName was on audio. Was probably just hard to tell because of all the random stuff happening on track
  19. Probably an unpopular opinion, but after playing the original and a little of the city that never sleeps expansion, I feel like being asked to clear more areas filled with thugs in almost the same way as in the original game (the core gameplay loop) can get a bit annoying :/ Insert image from URL
  20. Yea, that was really good fun! @WhatsInTheName @0verlord @hsk_colossus @skdMrk
  21. I'm kinda hesitant to go by those. Apps and system update files are small enough that they finish downloading before the speed counter gets a chance to stabilize Any on-screen progress bar isn't entirely accurate tbh, which is why you see file transfers stall at 99% sometimes.
