@spystranger: David Lynch is very on-off. For example, twin peaks is to die for but something like blue velvet does almost nothing for me.

Paprika isn't meant to be anything like spirited away. Ghibli and Kon Satoshi are poles apart.

@gautam: Thats exactly what I put down in my post. I never said VC was bad. Just that people preferred it over SanAn for some reason. And it's not just you, a lot of people share the same opinion. Tommy was badass alright but I found CJ more emotionally well rounded. I'm sure R* has pushed that further with GTA4. Niko Bellic bawling about being ratted out here we come, heh.

I loved San Andreas and played nothing else till I completed the story. I just can't understand the hate. Or was it the ghetto-centric story that turned people off? I thought it was very Menace II Society/Boyz N the Hood.

Speaking of San Andreas, I just realised that we don't get forests/deserts/small towns in this game
SanAn had a whole new set of vehicles and NPC models when you left the cities, not to mention the cities each being completely unlike each other. There was a lot of variety. -
Now they're interviewing people who've finished the game? lol.

Yea, there aren't too many spoilers. The review was a nice read, although excessively glowing and short of detail as all early exclusive reviews tend to be.
BTW, there are mass effect level choices to be made in the story.
